If you need a place to spend the nights and don’t need a shower, it is okay. The showers there are in need of a redo. I have never seen plumbing like they had—just Plex tubing with levers and no marking for hot and cold. The shower was clean enough but the restroom floor was wet and muddy. Also there wasn’t a place to plug in your hair dryer. Can’t believe the place is a KOA.

A must stop between Wisconsin and Arkansas. Staff always remembers us and with friendly service. We stayed overnight in our 45ft motor home.

Traveling through - stayed just one night. Nice level grassy pull thru site. Easy access. Nice hosts. No surprises - quiet.

Thr owner and his staff are all very friendly. The owner was very hands on and a great help when needed. He even made a point at stopping by our site when I was outside and asking how things were going.

Staff very nice... spaces need to be leveled (ones with the big rocks)...I believe the smaller rocks packed down are easier to keep level. Road coming in...washboard the whole way... drag it once a week and I think the issue is gone.

Great location with easy access to Austin and Albert Lea. Owner and staff are very pleasant and accommodating. Our dogs enjoyed use of the fenced "dog park" area that has a nice shade tree and a bench. It is big enough for them to play short toss Frisbee. For cyclists, there is a nice mountain bike trail in Austin (Schindlers Way) that has easy/intermediate level trails, less than 15 minutes away.

We stayed at the deluxe cabin. It was very clean, looked actually brand new and fresh, and had very lovely outdoor surroundings. Well kept grounds, extremely friendly and helpful staff (Brian.) Agreat place.

The only down side is the 2 pm check in which for those of us traveling across country is inconvenient especially late in the year

Office Staff great. The cleaning of the facilities leaves ALLOT to be desired!! Starting w/the trash. You seriously need to have your dumpsters emptied more often. From time of arrival to departure I couldn't fit a bag of trash in the dumpster. But, even the trash receptacle in front of office was over-flowing! Not a pretty sight for new guest arriving. Bath/Laundry, the same. Clean it!

Sorry you had that experience. We have the dumpster emptied 2 times a week. I have requested another dumpster, but they are not available. You were here on a holiday weekend, so things were overloaded. And pickup was delayed because of the holiday. Our bathrooms are cleaned daily.

We had a great stay, very quiet and the place was very clean. The Owner Brian was a tremendous help and so was his staff Debi. We didn't make a reservation on time and forgot it was a holiday. He accommodated us and sa ed us from sleeping in some parking lot. Thank you Brian so much and all your staff I.e. Debi and Stubby, you guys are awesome. Highly recommend you and your campsite.

The cabin was lovely and clean. Plenty of room for a family! The deck and grill were a great benefit (just wish I had time to use them).

Appreciated a clean park, friendly staff, and safe place to stay in a pull thru long enough to not unhook. Appreciated a large shaded dog park. I always appreciate KOA reservation process and emails to confirm and remind. Thank you

We arrived after hours, but received a text in advance of the office closing directing us where to find our space, which was helpful! And we just so happened to run into Ryan, the owner, when we pulled in and he directed us to our spot. He was friendly and welcoming!

Crap laying everywhere. Old pool has turned into a garbage dump. Really rundown. Sites near the entrance are good but there are only a few. Use to stay here a lot but no more.

Yes the pool is closed and being filled in. The pool is closed sorry that bothers you. I hope yoy find a park that meets your needs. We are working on the park and may seem Cluttered at times with equipment. Please understand as we work to improve.

We had a great stay at Mitchell KOA Journey. The campground is very clean and the staff is incredibly helpful. The only complaint is the pool was not available for use and it was extremely warm during our stay.

Clean and good long pull through. We stayed in a 46 ft fifth wheel. Staff is super friendly. Nice that camping world is next door too

Nice location off I90. Easy on/off freeway. Site was large and level with a decent patio. Good reception for satellite dish. Overall good stay.

Close off of I35. We like stopping here on of way to Minnesota. Easy in and easy out. Plenty of space.

Unfortunately we arrived after dark so we were unable to use the amenities, but it was a great stay. They left us a map that clearly directed us to our site which was easy to navigate & rather spacious.

Great stop. Friendly owners, always making improvements. All trimmed up, clean bathrooms. Great view . Lots of trees and grass walking areas for dogs!
