Great stop right off the interstate far enough to not have a lot of road noise, but still very close. The site is under new ownership and is making improvements. The sites are flat and easy to pull into. The staff is very nice and accommodating. This has been my fourth stay and will use gain. Looking forward to future improvements.

This camp ground is a work in progress. The new owners are working to clean up the sites. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The laundry room is large and the washers and dryers are big for large loads. There is lots of grass for your pups. I would stay there again.

Had a very enjoyable experience. Dog Park was a big hit for our dog. Park was clean and the rest rooms were also. would definately stay here again. Hope the Family has success with their new venture.

The tenting sites are close to the bathroom rooms and had plenty of room with shade. Easy pull though for trailers. Very friendly and helpful owners.

Made decision to stay while on the road, able to accommodate for 2 nights. Not the fanciest KOA but easy to get to.

Bathrooms could have been a lot better. The floor of the shower was slippery with the trek deck flooring. Lawn could have been mowed to hold up to the KOA standards.

I really liked the dishwashing station near the restrooms. It’s nice for those of us who don’t have luxury campers.

This is the worse place to go. There is nothing for kids and they had tree limbs all over the campground and they dont mow anything.

New owners just took over the park and are doing a great job getting it ready for campers. Sadly they have to remove Ash trees due to disease which is causing extra cleanup. Our site was cleared and level. Bathroom and laundry were clean. Owners were friendly and helpful. Definitely would return if in the area. Great place to relax and watch the corn grow!

Finding out that this campground lost 52 trees to the ash boaring beetle was terrible. But Finding out it has a new owner who is a Veteran my family and I are looking forward to staying again in the future to see the improvements!

This KOA is under new ownership and Christopher welcomed us and went above and beyond to make sure we had a good stay. Quiet, clean bathrooms and beautiful campground. We look forward to our next stay!

We stay here almost every year on our way to visit relatives in Austin and in WI. Campground just got new management and they are busy at work cleaning up the campground. Many dead trees etc. It's a great place to spend a night

Will not go back. Store was almost empty, grass very long especially around water and sewerage hook ups. Small branches all over the ground. No extra amenities. Poor very poor

when we arrived it was pouring rain and the site we were supposed to camp at had a picnic table blocking the drive. We looked around and our site wasn't the only one like this. What is that about?

WE HAVE STAYED HERE 4 OTHER TIMES AND THUS ONE WAS AWFUL. Weeds everywhere. NO spraying for bugs felt them biting as we were sitting up people at front desk not friendly. We will never be back. IF GACT WE HAVE A 3 WEEK TRIP PLANNED AND U DOUBT WE STAY AT A KOA AFTER THIS EXPERIENCE

The campground was easy to get to and great for a one night stop. Bathrooms were clean and showers were nice. The only downfall was that they had just cut down many trees and we were parked in piles of saw dust and had dead birds laying on the ground.

The KOA was so overgrown. Weeds were almost knee high. Some one needs to mow! Very unappealing. Not worth the money they charge. I’ve stayed in non KOA campgrounds that were cleaner and less expensive with full hookups. I would not recommend this campground or stay there again under the current conditions.

The grassy areas were overgrown - not tended to. The campground was over 60% empty - yet we were placed right next to another group. We prefer more space to ourselves if possible. People were very friendly and helpful. Good boundaries with their kids running around - very enjoyable. We appreciate the addition of the recycling dumpster - that has not been available in previous stays.

It’s was a nice stay and had just changed ownership. I think they are doing a terrific job of getting it back up to par. The location is great for as conscience to the interstates.

We were not too impressed with this location. Everything looked overgrown and worn out. The store was not stocked. We paid for a patio site and it was all worn out with weeds everywhere. The whole facility needs an update.

The check in people weren't friendly. When we ask about a storm coming and where to go during tornado warning !!! Which there was warnings and sirens!! Wasn't informative or concerned!! The grass was grown up like going through pasture!!! Never was concerned of people even when storm started or after!!!!!

We have stayed there while passing through a few times and it is a very nice place for a Journey. The new owners are very friendly and helpful with anything we needed. We will stay there again of the way through without a doubt.

I loved the large shady campsites. You enter the Campground through a tunnel-like canopy of tall trees— visually impressive! Staff was very helpful.

Place is run down. Lawn not mowed in forever. Bathrooms gross. Guy at check was creepy. We got a tornado alert to take shelter and only place is the gross bathrooms. Tyree branches everywhere the next morning that were blocking the road that weren’t cleaned up. Wouldn’t stay again.

The facility needs to be bulldozed and a new campground needs to be built. Multiple dead trees around the campground, the Dandelions need to be cut since there is practically no grass available. After staying at sites like Galesburg East/Knoxville, IL and Mitchell KOA at Mitchell, SD; KOA corporation should remove this facility from their website.

They haven't mowed the grass. Weeds and grass were unacceptable by my standards. KOA corporate needs to know about this. Bathrooms were clean.

The entire site was unkept. Numerous dead trees and weeds were the landscape of choice here. The 1st premium site I was assigned to had a dead tree so close to the camper that an awning could not be put out, not to mention a dead limb hanging from the tree that posed a risk. However, they allowed me to move to another premium site. At $71 a night, these sites are way overpriced! Not recommended

Great little campground with friendly staff and a location that is close enough to the highway to be convenient but still be quiet. This location worked out great for our visit to the Spam museum on our business trip. Definitely recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at this KOA campground! The new owners is a veteran, which we really appreciate, and it shows in the pride they take in running the campground. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The campground was very clean, including the sites and bathrooms, which were well maintained. Our kids enjoyed the small playground, and the overall atmosphere was family-friendly, quiet, and relaxing. The location is also very convenient—right off the highway, making it an easy stop while traveling without sacrificing a peaceful camping experience. We're excited to see how the new owners continue to improve the campground and would definitely stay here again! Highly recommend for families and travelers looking for a clean, comfortable, and welcoming place to camp.

Nice quiet campsite. Conveniently located near interstate 90 but far enough away so that we didn't have the traffic noise. Friendly helpful staff. Peaceful. Update 6/5/26. New owners are great. Working hard to get park cleaned up after Ash tree removal due to disease. Clean bathrooms and laundry. Will definitely stay here again!
