Care Camps Foundation is a national non-profit organization that funds 100+ medically supervised pediatric oncology camps across the U.S. and Canada Their mission is to give joy, hope, and the healing power of the outdoors to children with cancer and their families.
KOA campgrounds have been raising funds for Care Camps since 1984 to support these amazing camps because kids who have cancer should be able to enjoy care-free time focusing on fun, friends, and outdoor activities instead of their illness. The funds KOA and our campers raise are directed to Care Camps Foundation who now supports 100+ pediatric oncology camps across the U.S. and Canada each year.
