  • 8  c  shredded cabbage
  • 3  medium potatoes, cut into cubes
  • 1  medium onion, chopped
  • 1 3/4  tsp  salt
  • 1/4  tsp  pepper
  • 1  14.5 oz. can chicken broth
  • 2  pound(s)  fully cooked kielbasa or polish sausage, cut up


In a 5 qt. slow cooker combine shredded cabbage, 3 medium potatoes, onion, salt and pepper. Then pour the can of chicken broth over all of this. Place cut up kielbasa or polish sausage on top of everything, The cooker will be full but the cabbage will cook down. Cover and cook on low for 8-9 hours or until vegetables are tender and sausage is heated through. It yields 6-8 large servings but it is a recipe that you will use over and over.
