- 1 large container cottage cheese small curd
- 1 sour cream
- 1 large or 2 medium cucumbers
- 1 small onion
- 1 cantaloupe (summer melon)
- dash pepper
Slice or dice the cucumber and onion, then cut the melon into quarters and take out the seeds. Combine all ingredients except the melon and pepper to taste (usually it does not need salt). Heap the cottage cheese mixture onto the sliced melon. Serve chilled with a wholesome bread.
