Stew - foil wrapped

When I was in Girl Scouts many years ago, we made foil-wrapped stew dinners.

Ingredients

  • Ground Beef, lean
  • Onion, diced
  • Carrots, chopped
  • Potatoes, diced
  • Garlic cloves
  • Water
  • Foil
  • Salt & Pepper
  • A-1 Sauce

Preparation

We would start w/ lean ground beef, and then add diced onions, chopped up carrots, diced potatoes, garlic cloves, etc. Add a teensy bit of water, wrap it up in the foil, and place on hot coals in the campfire pit, generally for about 30 minutes, or until the potatoes & carrots are thoroughly cooked. Season w/salt & pepper & A1 sauce, and enjoy! Yummy!
