Spicy Chicken Skewers


  • 2  chicken breasts, cut into 3/4 inch strips
  • salt and pepper
  • jalapeno pepper, chopped
  • 1/2  c  barbecue sauce
  • 4 - 5  cloves garlic, chopped
  • juice of one lime


Sprinkle chicken with salt & pepper, then combine all ingredients in a zip lock baggie. Place in cooler to marinate for at least 30 minutes. Take wooden skewers & carefully place in zip lock baggie filled with water, soak for 30 minutes. Remove chicken & thread onto skewers, barbecue until done.

I make my recipe in the morning, and leave to marinade all day. When you get back for the night, you are ready to barbecue. I serve it with roasted red potatoes.
