Poached Salmon


  • salmon filets
  • garlic powder
  • salt
  • Sunny Delight juice
  • dill


In a low microwave safe dish, sprinkle a little garlic powder and salt on bottom of dish. Place a large piece of salmon (filets are best! skin side down). Pour Sunny Delight over the fish, till it is about 1/4 inch deep in pan. Sprinkle with a little garlic powder, dill, and a dash of salt. Cover with lid or saran wrap (do not pierce the saran wrap). Microwave on high for 4 minutes for filets, 5 minutes for steaks.

For a non-microwave version, use a large piece of foil, place seasons, fish, 2 Tablespoons juice and a pat of butter on foil and wrap loosely. Place on barbecue for 30 minutes.
