Pie Pan Potatoes


  • 2 - 4  medium potatoes, washed and sliced
  • sliced onion (optional)
  • butter or margarine
  • shredded cheese
  • salt and pepper


Grease pie pan with butter. Place sliced potatoes in pie tin. Add onion and dot with butter.. Salt and pepper to taste. Top with shredded cheese. Cover with tin foil, sealing edges around the pie tin. Poke 2 or 3 holes in foil for steam to escape. Place on fire grate or on grill. Cooking approx. 30 minutes, til potatoes are tender.
