Pasta and Peppers with Italian Sausage


  • 1  pound(s)  pasta
  • 1  pound(s)  sweet Italian sausage
  • 4 or 5  mixed bell peppers (sliced in strips)
  • 1  onion (sliced)
  • mushrooms
  • 1  jar pasta sauce


Cook 1 lb. of pasta to your liking. While the pasta is cooking, fry 1 lb. of sweet Italian sausage in a large skillet. As the sausage is done, remove from skillet and keep warm. Add 4-5 mixed bell peppers (sliced into strips) to the skillet and saute to your liking. You can add 1 sliced onion and fresh mushrooms if you like. Add the meat to the pepper mixture and add 1 large jar of your favorite pasta sauce to the skillet. Warm through and then pour over the pasta. Yum, this is so easy and delicious, it makes a great camping meal because its hearty and it smells wonderful.
