Oatmeal Breakfast


  • 3  c  uncooked oatmeal
  • 3  Tbsp  brown sugar
  • 1  tsp  cinnamon
  • pinch of salt


For variety add your choice of the following to the different baggies:

  • 1/2 cup raisins or cran-raisins
  • 3/4 cup dried fruit (banana chips, dried mango, apple or peach)
  • 1/4-1/2 cup chopped nuts (walnuts and almonds are best, if using the salted nuts you can skip adding a pinch of salt)

Draw a line on the baggie showing where the contents come up to and when it is time to cook use the baggie to measure the equal water. Boil for 3 minutes, remove from heat, cool and serve.
