Mexican Stew

I do this with venison, but any kind of meat will work, even chicken.


  • 1  pound(s)  meat in stew size chunks
  • 2  tsp  Chipotle seasoning
  • 1/2  tsp  garlic salt
  • 1/2  c  salsa
  • 1/2  c  red wine


Season meat for 1/2 hour with chipotle and garlic salt. Brown meat in hot oil and add salsa and red wine. Allow to simmer until most moisture has evaporated (30 t0 45 minutes). Serve with rice or bread.
