Meat and Potatoes in Foil


  • potatoes
  • chicken, porkchops or fresh sausage
  • bacon
  • salt
  • pepper
  • garlic powder


Peel and slice potatoes and cut up meat and cook bacon. You will need a large ovenproof or Firesafe rectangular Bakeware lined with nonstick foil. Layer the sliced potatoes evenly on the foil, sprinkle with salt and pepper. Next, add the meat and season with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Then top with slices of bacon. Cover with foil and poke a few little holes on top. Put on your campfire for about 45 minutes to 1 hour or in the oven at 400 degrees.
