Marinated Flank Steak

Marinated Flank Steak

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2  pound(s)  flank steak
  • 1  c  wine, red or white but not cooking wine
  • 1  package Good Seasons Italian dressing

Preparation

Remove any fat from the flank steak. Place steak in a container to marinade. Hint: A Ziploc bag works well. Mix the wine & dressing & add to the meat. Marinade at least one hour at room temperature or all day in the refrigerator.. Turn the meat frequently if it isn't totally submerged. Cook over a high flame for about 30 minutes, depending on how rare or well done the meat should be. Baste with the marinade up to the last 5-10 minutes. Remove from the heat, cover & let it sit for 10 minutes to allow the juice to be reabsorbed. Slice thinly on an angle. Serve with rice or potatoes. If you put potatoes on the fire to bake, they are excellent with this dish.. Leftovers, if you ever have any, make excellent cold sandwiches.
