Lemony Barbecued Chicken


  • 1 1/4  c  ketchup
  • 1  6 oz. can frozen lemonade, thawed, undiluted
  • 3/4  c  water
  • 1/4  c  Worcestershire sauce
  • 1.4  c  prepared mustard
  • 1/4  c  corn oil
  • 2  Tbsp  instant minced onions
  • 1  tsp  salt
  • 2  pound(s)  chicken pieces


In a saucepan mix together ketchup, lemonade, water, Worcestershire sacuce, mustard, corn oil, onion, and salt. Simmer 5 minutes. Place chicken on grill away from center heat, skin-side-down; cook 15 minutes. Turn chicken and grill for 10 additional minutes. Brush chicken pieces with sauce and turn occasionally; cooking for additional 10 minutes.
