Garlic Shrimp or Chicken
- 2 c chicken breast (cubed) or whole cleaned shrimp
- 1/2 c butter
- 1/4 c olive oil
- 2 tsp garlic (chopped or minced)
- 1 onion
- rice or pasta
Chop up onion. Heat olive oil in skillet, then add butter, onion and saute until they start to turn clear (do not let the heat get too high). Add the garlic and saute about 3 -5 more minutes. Add shrimp or chicken and cook just long enough to cook through (when they turn white). Take off heat or turn on low heat. Next, make instant rice or angel hair pasta. Serve Garlic Shrimp or Chicken over the rice or pasta and a vegetable on the side if desired.
