English Pea Casserole


Makes 12

  • 4  boxes or 3 sacks English Peas (40 ounces)
  • 2-3  hard-boiled eggs for garnish
  • 1  can chopped water chestnuts
  • 1  can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1  can cream of celery soup
  • 1  can sliced mushrooms
  • 1  small jar pimentos
  • 1  small container sour cream
  • 1  small package sharp cheddar cheese (grated)


Cook peas until done, but don't overcook. Drain. Mix all other ingredients except boiled eggs. Add peas. Bake in 9 X 13" pan at 350 degrees until bubbly. Top with sliced boiled eggs.
