Dutch Oven Ham and Sweet Potatoes
- 1 fully cooked ham
- 2 sweet potatoes
- 1 can pineapple chunks
- 1/2 c brown sugar
Cut the sweet potatoes into chunks. Put the ham in the Dutch oven and pour the potato chunks and the pineapple on top. Mix the brown sugar and half of the pineapple juice together and pour on top of ham and put the lid on. If you have a set of irons, hang the pot over a medium fire or set the pot on hot coals and make sure there are plenty to go around the side about 1/3 of the way up. Cook until the potatoes are done, depending on your heat (about 45 minutes to 1 hour). Put the marshmallows on for the last 15 minutes.
