We always love the Winthrop KOA. We noticed a marked downturn on the quality of customer care. Pool was closed and has previously been open for at least a portion of our stay. As 5 of our stay days were75+ degrees, that was disappointing. The cabin was filthy. We had to clean it before we moved in, and the bathrooms were in like condition. Mike and Lori kept it spotless and well stocked. Sad turn

This place has steadily gone downhill in the last 3 years, before that it was great. Bathrooms were dirty and out of TP and paper towels several times throughout our stay. So declining services and constantly increasing prices will have us looking elsewhere next year. It a shame because it use to be such a nice place to stay.

Owner was incredibly rude. I cannot believe the way I was treated after staying 5 nights at the campground.

Disappointing that everything was closed, no pool (it was 80 degrees and there hadn't been a freeze yet), didn't have the train going despite lots of kids, bathroom closed at one end, only one dumpster, limited store hours, rates have gone up a lot and yiu don't get any extras. Male owner was quite rude to the woman and girls in our party, tried to grab the arm of a child in our party���

Nice place along the river. Yes it's a bit dusty on the full hookup side because the area has gotten below normal rain. Bathrooms were clean and mostly stocked. Staff was friendly and helpful.

My stay was typical & I have no actual complaints but feel a couple of things could have been better. It would have been nice to know ahead of time that the pool would not be usable. Then, the change machine in the laundry room was out of order. Had just enough for 1 load of laundry to wash/dry. The washer did NOT drain & my clothes were SOPPING wet. I had to drive to the store & clothes still

The cabin was clean and neat with plenty of towels and bedding. But the TV didn't work and there was only one skillet for cooking.

Kabin 301 is THE place to book if you want a cabin to just hang out in with your dog. It has a fenced yard! Playrground was not a problem. This was our first fall trip. I did not realize that fall hours meant that the Kamp Store is closed at 5. That was the only bummer but now we know. Staff was helpful, but the sign in the fridge needs updating (ie. purchased vs. requested.)

We love this campground. We always stay in the cabins and the one we get is on the edge so it's very quiet. And close to the bathrooms which are nice. The campground location is great! A short walk to a grocery store if you need it. It's right on the river and close to the town of Winthrop. We walked through the rest of the campground and the full hook-up trailer section was pretty packed.

We understand no fires, but the pool was not available, looks like no bikes to rent anymore. KOA is not the same as it used to be, when I was growing up. Bathrooms were cleaned that Friday when we checked in, but not the next day. My sister found a fake eyelash on her pillow, after it falling into the cabin floor… just pretty disappointed and boring this year.

As someone that has been coming to this KOA since I was 10 and I am now 45 I am so disappointed and and disgusted and flat out MAD! 3days never cleaned restrooms what ones worked! Office smelled like sewage! Pool drained y’all should probably fix that on ur website! Put a date!! CABIN WAS NOT CLEAN trash from last person I took out due to bees . $368 for sewage smelling camping! Fun!!! No!!

The staff were helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. The facilities and grounds were kept up well. We will definitely be back in the future.

My friends and I stayed for an overnight before a trail run nearby and had a great visit. Our cabin was clean, warm, and quiet. The bathrooms were a delight, clean, heated, and comfortable.
