This KOA has really gone down hill in the last 4 years. The grounds are not kept up no longer green gas at the pull through sites. Pine needles were all over. The bathrooms near us were closed and the pool was closed. The other bathrooms and the store smelled like raw sewage. The store was only open 9-5. We have been coming here for 20 years for the car show weekend and we won't be back.

Over priced at over $90/night including tax and our KOA discount. No hookup at our site for sewer even when they told us there would be. I tried to take a shower in the bathroom by office and no hot water. The showers were clean. The pet exercise area was locked up. Nothing was paved. We could have stayed at Perrygin State Park for $40 with concrete pads, paved roads, green grass & full hookups

We understand no fires, but the pool was not available, looks like no bikes to rent anymore. KOA is not the same as it used to be, when I was growing up. Bathrooms were cleaned that Friday when we checked in, but not the next day. My sister found a fake eyelash on her pillow, after it falling into the cabin floor… just pretty disappointed and boring this year.

As someone that has been coming to this KOA since I was 10 and I am now 45 I am so disappointed and and disgusted and flat out MAD! 3days never cleaned restrooms what ones worked! Office smelled like sewage! Pool drained y’all should probably fix that on ur website! Put a date!! CABIN WAS NOT CLEAN trash from last person I took out due to bees . $368 for sewage smelling camping! Fun!!! No!!

The staff were helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. The facilities and grounds were kept up well. We will definitely be back in the future.

The KOA was not maintained as it had been in the past. We stayed in a premium spot. The fencing was broken and instead of repairing there was a plastic crate in front of the broken boards. The picnic table’s paint was all chipped and need to be repainted. Not what was expected especially for a premium spot. Public bathrooms near campsites were closed. Dog park not maintained.

No grass in big need of updating and tender love and care. Very old wood tables, only one shower house open that you could actually feel clean after your shower. Lots of work needed at the Holiday KOA.

We were charged a fee of $95.16 or about $120.00 Canadian.Everything was closed and no water in the pool and no one around. We always loved the KOAs but very few left in BC. I feel the fee was over charged. We could of stayed in a hotel for less.

We had a wonderful stay. As always staff is amazing. One thing to note, they are beginning to wind down for the winter. The bathroom near us was shut down without warning before our stay ended. Kind of a shock durning a "gotta go now moment". A bit of a trek to the next one........ especially in crisis.

They closed the pool on Sept. 6th!!!!- It still summer! False advertising as an amenity. No one advised us at time of booking the pool would be closed. Nowhere on the website was the pool closure mentioned at time of booking. Very disappointing for my family and kids as well as every other family camping that the week. Also, the KOA sign at the entrance from the road was not light up.

Easy to get to, close to town, yet it feels like you are really out and away. River next to campground sets this campground firmly into the "great" category.

When we arrived Sept. 8 were advised the swimming pool was not open. Closed so early? Also, WIFI was very weak.

The cabin was great and the area around Winthrop was very enjoyable to experience.

Had a fantastic time in one of the cabins! Very clean campground and had everything we needed-staff were super friendly and gave great recommendations of things to do in the area! We are coming back again next summer!!

We love the campground!! However, the staff needs to really work on their customer service skills. Harassing phone calls, rude/yelling at guests. We were told we would have specific sites but upon checking in that did not happen. As much as I love this place, I have no interest in spending this kind of money to be treated so rudely again.

Stayed in a covered wagon. The bed was full of bed bugs. Management said there was nothing they could do until Monday, except offer me a refund if I checked out. I would have but everything in town was booked up, so I would have had no where to stay. I ended up sleeping on the floor. I was a horrible experience. The management didn't even clean the bedding after I had asked.

had a problem with loud motorcycles /and loud music and neighbors using a lot of foul language.. but we like the camp ground and will be back had a lot of yellow jackets this year need better control

OK—pool was already drained even though still warm. Sites very plain with little grass. River was pretty but no place to hang out beside the bank. This KOA needs investment but we have seen worse.

We really like this campground. The staff is very friendly, and it's nice to be by the river, with plenty of trees.

Went over labor day, 2 of us and have been to almost all of the KOA's in the PNW, this one was the most expensive and trying to justify the added expense is difficult. It was clean and well kept but not the nicest one we have been to. Location is quiet, by the river and not near a highway or railroad. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Overall enjoyed it and will probably be back.

Cabin does not compare well with other KOA cabins I have stayed in. Campground was not attractive. Rather a depressing place.

Pool is dirty/old, tiles falling off, cabins not clean to the T, bbqs on private cabin didn’t work- told us to use communal bbq however that’s not what we paid for. We paid for our own pvt. Jump pad is brown- doesn’t look cleaned over night. Pvt bathroom shower curtains were black at the bottom. Staff-not the nicest/welcoming. Beautiful town. Seems to be goin downhill these past couple years

We arrived 1 hr before check in time of 3:00 . They charged us an additional $10. To get into our campsite. The campground was 3/4 empty. This was charged .on top of the $84.95 plus taxes. On check out day we where sent a text 2 hrs before checkout time telling us we to make sure we where gone by 11:00. And the pool was dry. Won’t be staying in a KOA again

This was a 5 last year. All grass is dead, roads dusty and lots of hornets biting us. Too expensive for the uneven site we were in. We were unable to balance our RV due to drop off

been coming here for years, I use to love this place. It has a corporation feel, not a family friendly or accommodating Manager. Hate to see such a cool spot go so corporate, seems the main focus is getting the customer money not hospitality. Previous owners were fantastic and truly understood a family campground. Maybe try and hire a nicer manager, have better hours for the store and pool.

My family and I had a very good stay. Definitely one of the better KOA’s I’ve been too. Very clean. Also lots of fun things for the kids. Would highly recommend.

The service was wonderful, despite a full house! We love the spirit here. I am sorry that everything is so expensive these days- that is the only reason I gave you guys a 9 as far as recommendations. You do a great job!

Loved the campground. Staff was great and sites were good. If i had to really search for something, wish there was more river access or a river walk into town.

Very friendly staff. Bathrooms are well kept and very clean for a campground. Great place for kids, lots of activities to keep them busy. Great location right on the Methow river. The gift shop does not have much food or drink wise (no water, beer, or wine, so pack your own in). Campsites could use some green grass and we had a TON of yellow jackets to fight off.

Cool little spot on the river/stream. Very clean bathrooms and laundry room. The "downtown" is close by for a meal and people watching.

Nice, quiet, near the river, but no feasible river access. Sites 9 and 17 have private patios with hot tubs.
