Lion Country Safari KOA exceeded expectations with a heated pool offering a delightful experience. The playground added to the family-friendly atmosphere, making our stay truly enjoyable. Immaculate cabins, lion roars in the background, and diverse activities at the front desk made it a memorable getaway.

Friendly, clean camp ground. Pool was a nice temperature even though it was cooler outside. Very dog friendly and nice dog park.

We stayed 3 days with out our daughter and another family and unfortunately it rained and our site was in mud the whole time. We were unable to enjoy our site and found ourselves setting up camp at our friends site next door. Site 189 is low lying and gets flooded easily. Also the view from our camper wasn’t the best. We backed a storage area for campers and trailers.

Super clean bathrooms!!! Well-stocked store. Very accommodating staff. Only downside is no campfire, but I understand it’s because of the animals. Nice place to stay for 1st-time campers.

This was my first time camping and was happy we selected Lion Safari camping. It was great, throughly enjoyed it, will come again.

It was our first camp in the new RV, site was spacious, with concrete patio and picnic table with seats, hookups were good 50/30/15. Water pressure ok, sewer connection good, but needed a donut for tight connection, close to the park, where we heard the lions roaring and monkeys howling. Plenty of space for the truck and rv, lots of things to do, unfortunately rained all the time.

Unlike other rv campgrounds, KOA doesn’t have an enclosed area for children to play if it’s rainy; other campgrounds offer ping pong tables, scavenger hunts, family activities, to name a few. This park is more expensive that most others that have offered this, the staff is easily annoyed when asked questions (no smiles), the WiFi is unstable. Pool is nice, and monkey/lion sounds were great.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Cabin 1...all the staff members were extremely helpful and friendly!! Loved the lions roars, cleanliness of bathhouses, compl coffee in the morning at the office, and again, all staff members were delightful!

Manager Kathy chooses which customers she’s courteous & treats respectfully. Unfortunately, my family and I didn’t fit her criteria. She made our stay very uncomfortable along with other staff members. Kathy canceled one of my reservations claiming that she didn’t have space. But, my friends husband who stayed over BECAUSE I RECOMENDED the KOA; told me that there were empty spots his entire

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. We camped in our own tent and loved our campsite. It was set back in a woodsie area but not too far of a walk to the clean bathrooms. They had a lot of amenities, all which were well kept. Hearing the lions roaring from our campsite was such a neat experience.

Very clean campsite. I like how the tent sites are in a separate area from the RV sites. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Lots of activities for children. It would be nice if wood-burning campfires were allowed.

It was cold but the pool temperature was great 84 degrés so we did enjoyed the swimming � the place is nice and quiet .we loved this KOA

Large but spacious KOA. We were there only overnight as we were on our way to Florida Keys, but we very likely to book again. Woke up to lions roaring! Very nice staff!
