The staff if so friendly and helpful. Fun to hear the lions roar from your site. The park is very well-kept, neat and tidy.

I had a pull through spot at the end of a road. Everything worked well, including the plumbing electric and water. We had a nice shade tree on our site to help with the sun. All staff members I had contact with were very nice and helpful. I filled up my propane tank upon leaving, which was a very easy process. All in all it was a great experience, and I will definitely return.

Very nice place. Staff was excellent especially the guy who parked us, Mike. Worked it out so we could park our motorhome and boat on the same spot still attached. Nice guy. My only issue was the sites are gravel and grass. Not really a fan of those, personally. It was a bit off level but we made it work. All in all nice place.

Nice clean KOA. Friendly staff. Rates were kinda high for a basic pull through spot however. No trash pickup and only 2 pets allowed.

Huge rv park next door to animal park. Nice to hear the jungle from rv spot. And the animal drive thru was fun.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here with the lions roars greeting us at each day’s break. The staff were the best; helpful and knowledgeable with smiles. The laundry was fresh and sanitized. I only wish we could have stayed longer. Make sure to go on the Safari.

Always a wonderful time staying at KOA Lion country. We heard the lions EVERY day! The staff is friendly and very helpful. We stayed for 2 1/2 months and miss waking up to the lions. They have a wonderful laundry facilities. Many activities daily too. Looking forward to our next visit.

We stood on Site 190. We could hear the Lions roaring. The Campground is nice, we’ll maintained, Staff is friendly. We loved it.

This KOA is run by an excellent manager, Kathy Benard. We are very lucky to be camping there, and she and her wonderful staff are the reason fo why we keep returning every year!

We enjoyed our stay. The grounds there were not impressive considering that their $130.00 fee is the highest we have ever paid anywhere. But we really enjoyed hearing the lions roaring in the morning and at night.

Great location and very helpful and friendly campground staff. While this is an older KOA facility, it's well maintained and managed. Any future trips to Lion Country Safari will include a stay at this KOA.

We had a great stay.....our first in our new camper. The accommodations were perfect and we found the people to be very nice. Mike that showed us to our campsite was very knowledgeable and very quick to offer help and advice when asked. As we begin this chapter into future exploration we will play it safe and mostly stay at KOA's. Thank you!!

We really love this campground! Friendly staff and love hearing the lions & monkeys everyday! My only complaint is the dryers in the park laundromat are not attended properly. The lint screens are disgustingly old and rusty and most are “locked” so you can’t clean them yourself. I made a point of telling Kathy the very nice manager about the lint screens.

We didn’t know what to expect, it was our first time there. It was very nice and the staff was very friendly and helpful and offered us the purchase of tickets to Lion Safari when we checked in. That was a real convenient thing. Do not miss going there and spend the day. The rest room/showers were sparkling clean as was the entire campground. A new Publix grocery is 10 minutes away. NICE!

The whole KOA campground is very clean and organized and somebody is always available to help in anyways needed either in the office or on site.

The sites are well spaced apart and loved hearing the monkeys and lions roar throughout the day. The staff are very friendly and the campground is kept very clean, looking forward to coming back in 2026.

My wife and I were celebrating our 51st anniversary. We decided to spend the night at Lion County Safari. We had a wonderful time. We rented a cabin and it was very comfortable. We did the drive through first and I was impressed with the amount of animals we saw. We also went to the walking park for lunch and the food was delicious along with the additional animals that were there. Great time!

We had to replan our stay because fire closed the road to Key West KOA. This was a nice place and the folks were all friendly. It was interesting the first day hearing the lions huffing and making sounds. We were told it was from next door. Reality is they pipe in recordings to build interest in the drive thru safari next door. Same thing with the monkey sounds. Weak WIFI signals disappoint!ed!

Very clean, nice pool, great playground, sports courts. No grills or fires allowed. No privacy from neighbors - no bushes, trees, or anything separating your site from the RV very close next to you.

Thank you for staying with us and providing your feedback. No wood fires or ground fires are allowed due to the proximity of the Safari (safety of our animals) however you are welcome to bring you own grill/firepit and use artificial logs, charcoal o gas. We hope to serve you again in the future

Highly recommend! Stay at the north end to hear the lions roaring! Amenities are all kept up. Bummer no wood fires, but it's hot anyways.

Very happy with the camping experience here at West Palm Beach / Lion Country Safari KOA Journey. Staff is super helpful and friendly. Well stocked campstore (although closes at 5pm M-F). Nice pool. Very clean facilities. Very close to beaches, stores and dining. To note: they do not allow open camp fires. It is very cool to hear the lions and chimps as you are riught next to the safari.
