An enjoyable stay and location. However, some maintenance is definitely needed. Until mowing on the last day of our stay, the grass was very long. Also, more gravel desperately needs to be added to the drives and spaces, and not the large, hard to walk on stones. The area near the maintenance barn was extremely rough and in serious need of more smooth gravel.

I had to go to a funeral and I didn't want to pull my camper 7 hrs,one way for 1 night so I booked 1 night in a Deluxe cabin, this worked out perfect , I highly recommend KOA Cabins , thank you Harold.

Great camp sites and staff. Location on top of hill very noisy with nearby freeway. Facilities well kept- showers are minuscule. It’s a bit far if you’re doing things downtown but the nearby shopping area has lots of good options.

Decent campground. We just didn't get the best location. I picked a private patio when booking and the picture showed a nice wooden deck with a field in the background. The spot we got was a pavers stones with wet piles of old leaves and a extremely busy highway behind us. I wish when booking with KOA there was a map of the campground and we could just pick the open spots.

We have stayed a few times at this location. This time wasn't great (cabin 10). Very dark when entering from the parking spot. Hit my head on the A/C unit due to the darkness, had to use a flashlight to carry items in, no propane tank on grill, no fire extinguisher in cabin, slats on shades broken, back of patio chair broken, grounds needed weedeated and sprayed. Disappointed this time.

We try to stay at this location when traveling. This was an overnight stop. The staff made sure we had all the details at checkin. The pet area was clean and well maintained. We love the campsite delivery amenities!

The old part was great. Needed a little more upkeep. But with their big expansion. I’d say the old was getting a bit less attention. But the campground is under new ownership as well. Which leads me to the new part. Next to highway. Road traffic noise is nonstop. Still lots of mud in driveways, and yards unfinished. As a long term camper, rates have went up substantially as well.

Muddy mess, roads are awful, pull thru sight is not a true pull thru unless you can’t to sink in the wet grass. Highway noisy is crazy loud as well.

Bring earplugs because you are still in Gretna, home of the Jake brake. Semi truck traffic is intense until about 10 pm. Someone needs to build a retaining wall and plant rows of trees to dampen the sound. Location is questionable, the Platte is a few miles down the road - but the camp is in nested between highways. Good value for safe camping and clean facilities. Pizza is good too. Polite staff.

We enjoyed our stay. The office people were so friendly! One suggestion is to mow the grass within the campsite.

Everything was great. I would suggest a new queen mattress for cabin 2, it was soft like the bunk mattresses are.

This campground is dire need of basic maintenance and rejuvenation. Looks like management is expanding with many new sites under construction when they should be investing capital in rehabilitating the current infrastructure. This place might be ok for a one night stop (but it is within earshot of busy I-80 so don’t expect a good nights sleep if you keep your windows open).

Generally speaking, our stay was fine (our 2nd visit). However, we used the dog park regularly & on the second day of our stay our dog Daisy escaped! This was very scary since the dog park is so close to the road, but we did get her back. I let the office know and they put some rocks in the escape area, but the entire back fence needs to be redone. There was also one worker who was not friendly.

We stayed at least one night at 12 KOAs over the past 7 weeks and this one was substandard. The sites were rough with rocks the size of golf balls that made it difficult to walk, two of the four washing machines were out of order, the showers have mold and the wooden doors were damaged. The place needs serious updating.

If I have a choice in the matter, I will 90% of the time stay at KOA. This location is strategically placed, clean, quiet, homey, and relaxing. When I have gone it hasn’t been busy . The staff are also very accommodating, laid back, hospitable, and considerate. Lastly, not as important but definitely a positive was the shower pressure and bathroom cleanliness.

Staff were friendly. The campground overall looks rough, a bunch of random stuff laying around, does not look as clean and put together as other KOAs we’ve been to.

Absolutely LOVE my little spot under the beautiful trees tonight. The staff here is wonderful, they even accompany you to your site 😀 It's clean, affordable, safe, and close to the highway for easy travels. I recommend for anyone passing through

This is our favorite campground. It is our home away from home when working the Renaissance Festival of Nebraska. We stay here every year.
