Spend a couple of hours exploring the history of Vernal, Utah, at the McConkie Ranch Petroglyphs, less than a 20-minute drive from Vernal / Dinosaurland KOA. The ranch is located in the surrounding areas of Vernal and is home to hundreds of petroglyphs carved into the rock by Native Americans thousands of years ago. This popular Vernal attraction is 7 miles from the campground and perfect for the whole family! Take the 2-mile out-and-back hike to the Moonshine Arch Vista to see nature up close.
