Oaks sites are great for more “back to nature” camping. Staff was great. The only issues were the trash cans were overflowing most of the time, and nobody was enforcing noise regulations.

I have never stayed at a KOA and we absolutely loved it! My grand-kids had the best time on the bicycle course and my own kids loved the obstacle course and I loved hanging at the pool (although could have been a little warmer is what I heard a lot of people saying)and how clean everything was, especially the bathrooms!

Water temperature in the showers was not very consistent. My site reservation was changed without informing me beforehand. Price was not bad at all. Location is good.

Serene and wonderful. Peacocks are magic the pool was awesome. The labyrinth was contemplative and lovely.

The area was beautiful. The staff was very nice. The cleanliness of the camp could be improved; there were bags of trash everywhere and the restrooms were dirty (but not horrible for a campground). We can see ourselves returning.

It was a nice campground and friendly staff but amenities were lacking for us. Lots of construction going on, dirty showers for tent camping, and none of the activities for kids were available aside from the playground area.

Beautiful area, The cleanest bathrooms I've ever seen at a campsite. My only complaint is that the campsite map is outdated. Trails near the water don't exist and some of the activities on the map are not actually available.

A great weekend with friends. Enjoyed everything from the trampoline, bike riding and hiking. The campsite was perfect too! The only issue which wasn't a big deal was the size of the steps leading to the restroom. The staircase could use an additional step closer to the ground.

The check-in process was fine, but upon searching for our campsite, it seemed like the lady at the desk had no idea the map was wrong. The showers were so disgusting we showered at the local YMCA. In general, the whole KOA was just dirty and unorganized. We were incredibly disappointed and wish we could take back the two nights we were there.

The mountain fire was in full affect when we arrived. Power was off and I know they were feeling the pressure but staff was amazing. Giving information before we even arrived to insure our safety. Our tent was perfect and bathrooms were so clean. Saturdays activity staff were amazing as well. Family had so much fun and great memories were made. We WILL be back and recommend to family and friends

I wish I could get my money back. This place is run down and disgusting. No wifi. The bathrooms by the pool are super dirty. The doors to the toilet stalls don’t lock. The floor is rotting away under the toilets and the showers don’t work. The owner doesn’t fix anything just tries to cover it up. Peacocks are running and flying around super noisy and scary. Do not stay here. Not worth it.

Overall this campground was amazing. Many things to do with kids, clean bathrooms and showers, and quiet area to relax. The only complain I have is the restroom did not have any working lights.

Map of the campground does not match the actual grounds layout. Due to this and construction, it was very unclear where our tent site was actually located, even with guidance from the staff. Never had a phone call answered when attempted prior to our trip. No response to emails sent. No prior notification that the ropes course was only open on Saturdays. Shower door did not have a lock.

I really like this place been coming for 20 years. I'm a little disappointed that some of their best tent camping sites are going to high end expensive cabins but i goes that is progress. The new cancellation policy will make me less likely to book. The lack of flexibility is a real negative.

Nice people, great site. The website kept crashing during the reservation process. And the site had quite a bit of trash in it. But we like this koa a lot and the Oaks sites are great.

Our stay at KOA Ventura Ranch tent camp site was very nice. Friendly staff at the office and around the camp grounds. Lots of activities to do on property. Facilities like bathrooms and showers maintained fairly well. Would go back!!!

Not the KOA that my parents took us as kids. I had higher expectations. Times have changed, and the new preferred customer is obviously an RV, and not a tent camper. Felt like a stepchild. Having a nice restroom was the reason I chose KOA over others. What a disappointment. Tons of amenities at this location, but that wasn’t my interest. I wanted nice bathrooms, clean, with nice shower facility

Ropes course and zip lines were heavily advertised on website, and nowhere did it mention the 70 lb weight requirement. My 66 lb daughter wasn’t allowed to do it, which was the entire reason we went here. We were so upset, and wished we were refunded for our pointless stay. The bathrooms were full of spiders and the grounds had excessive amounts of ants.

I love coming camping here. The bathrooms are always clean and the amenities are great. The pool could be a little bit warmer. It’s freezing, but other than that we absolutely love coming every year.

We had a 50+ camping group. Everyone loved it. The zip line, swimming pool, bouncy pillow etc. The kids had the best time of all. See you next year.

Stayed Friday-Sunday 08/16 - 08/19 Oak Tents bathrooms septic tank backed up or overflowed Saturday mid-day. Sewer type water/poop filled up the shower pans so no close bathrooms for 1/2 my stay. DO NOT use showers without flip-flops. Shower by Pool, no temp regulation – full blast super-hot or super cold, Pool is cold. Road Noise and no clear path to creak – it’s “through the tents somewh

We loved the pool. However the bathrooms in the tenting area were closed for most of our stay and there was no option but to frequently drive to the other bathrooms as they were quite far away. With kids this was less than ideal.

Bathroom was closed down Saturday for plumb problems, never to reopen (oaks area). Long walk in the middle of the night to find a bathroom. For our inconvenience we should of been compensted something.

Unfortunately, this KOA did not meet our expectations. It is very run down and poorly maintained. Don’t even get me started on the bathrooms. We won’t be back again.

Very nice visit as usual, but The Oaks bathroom was awful. Broken light switch, no soap, no paper towels, paper all over the floor, roll of toilet paper on the dirty floor. Yuck. We called the office and politely asked if they could service it, but that never got done.

camp site is great. however the camp is under staff. the restroom was not cleaned during our entire stay. also the restroom had no soap nor paper towels after the first night. we let the front desk know but still nothing

We enjoyed our stay, campground was nice weather was perfect. My only complaint is a big party of teenagers was there and they were occupying the bathrooms. They were only stayed a day but other than that we will be back.

Our first site had an open dumper so they moved us to the overflow under a severely spider infested tree. They told us spiders live outside when we brought it up but there was clearly no upkeep. Wolf spiders had huge webs attached to the teepees, wagon wheels, in the bathroom. We will most likely never visit this KOA again.

We have enjoyed camping here in the past, but it seems the quality has gone down hill. Absolutely no way of getting through on the phone (the lines are always busy) - how about hiring someone to work the phone lines. No one checking the noise levels at night (we had loud people partying till late with music and yelling and no one could be reached by phone, no one checking this) Only 1 shower

This is the first time I've been disappointed. We were camping a few feet from the construction sight. The work trucks kicking up dust, tools lying around, piles of dirt, big hole and yellow tape really took away our camping experience. The poor family beside us were in the middle of the work site. Update your website so families know to bring their hard hats! Not safe for little kids site 1&5.

This KOA was just ok. Not sure if it was worth the price. Bathrooms were so so the pool was nice the only real attraction that was included. Everything else is additional cost. Not many actives for the kids. Not my favorite KOA.

I stayed at Ventura Ranch KOA over the weekend and had such a great experience. We booked one of the cabins, and it was fully loaded—honestly, all we had to do was show up and enjoy. It made the trip super easy and stress-free. The pool opened early, which was a nice bonus, and there were so many activities to keep everyone entertained. The zip lines were a highlight, and kids will love things like gem mining and tie-dye. There's definitely no shortage of fun things to do. One of the coolest parts of the stay was seeing wild peacocks wandering around the property—it added a really unique touch to the whole experience. Overall, it was a fun, relaxing getaway, and I'm already looking forward to going back!

We rented a cabin and froze the first night bc there were no instructions on how to operate the "digital" heater. Also it did not state on the website that none of the children's activities were open during the week, which is when we were there during spring break. 😡
