Sites had a lot of trash in them. Campground was catered to RVs- bathrooms were gross after over use in the morning and not enough showers for the amount of tent campers. Rock wall wasn’t opened and zip line was unorganized.

Our 2nd time staying here and we had the best time, the only thing I’d suggest is if there was a staff that periodically drove around the camp at night and enforce the quiet time. There was a very loud famiky close to us that kept on talking very loudly due to intoxicattion way after the quiet time.

The bathrooms are too far, the shower next to the pool doesn’t work . the pool water is too cold, NO Jacuzzi First time and last time

For the tent sites, we wished the parking spots were located right on the tent site for easy loading and unloading. Some neighbors were somewhat loud at 5 am and some neighbors would cross through our site without regard. Maybe there could be a reminder to the guest to not walkthrough other camping sites.

We had such a great stay at KOA Ventura! Check-in was easy and the attendant was incredibly kind and helpful. Our campsite was spacious, clean, and beautiful. There was so much to do, the bathrooms were very clean, and it was super close to the Santa Paula Punch Bowls hike. We’d definitely stay again!

I booked a premium individual campsite, but honestly, it was not worth the additional cost at all. There was no clear explanation provided regarding the difference between a premium site and a regular site. KOA assigned us a site near the group camping fire area, and it was also very far from the restroom. Because of this, I’m questioning what exactly made this a “premium” campsite and wheth

We stayed three nights, great campsite. The bathrooms were clean and fully stocked. The firepit area was awesome; we had a fire every night. Our daughter loved the bouncy area and the pool was great. Even though we didn’t get to do the obstacle course everyone we saw seemed to have a great time. And the peacocks, though loud, we’re amazing.

We loved the setting, the activities and fun options like teepee, cabin and zip line. However the roads were terrible, bathrooms unattended and far. The day party next to our site was out of control but since your staff was bringing the people I felt uncomfortable saying anything. Your staff sped through the roads very fast. Not sure if I would ever stay again.

We love this spot, however, frequent cleaning is necessary. Shower was not working, swimming pool was not clean. Sewage smell was around the pool. Please pay attention to those. Else no complains.

Overall, it was a great stay. Bathrooms were clean leading up to our departure and grounds were kept clean as well. The kids enjoyed the zipline, natural water source and ability to run around in nature safely.

The campsite we stayed at, Spot 33, was decent. However, the only place to access water nearby was close to the restroom. The shower facilities didn’t have hot water, and to use a shower with warm water, we had to drive up the hill. The shower area was also poorly maintained and full of dead bugs. We had a great time! I wish that the trails and other amenities were marked better since you run into one sign that says go this way and then there’s never another sign telling you your going in the right direction. Other than that, our tent site was clean, the people around us weren’t loud thanks to the quiet time hour. Enjoyable all around, we will be coming back.

I liked the fact that the picnic table was concrete and not made out of wood. The bathroom was clean. The zip lining was available while we stayed,which my kids had lots of fun.

This was a great find at the end of the day. The staff were very nice directing me to my site when I had difficulty finding it. The campground is kind of out of the way. It’s also very loud with Peacocks screeching most of the night. But in a beautiful canyon which was nice

We loved the cabin and everything worked inside it. And thank you for opening the pool for Troop since we booked the two group tent sites as well. The kids enjoyed the pool to cool down.

Great. I was very glad you opened up the pool early as it was a hot weekend. On another note when I arrived there was no water on in the bathroom. I called and was told there was a leak and not sure when back on. What I appreciated was that a team member of yours called me back to tell me it was fixed and I really appreciated the extra effort.

Not as woodsey as I thought it would be. Strange agricultural smell, heavy at times. No hot water in bathroom. Nice and quiet. Pleasent view of the mountain. The site wasn't very level. Could use some cacti. Grilled at great meal with friends. Peacocks were a novelty.

Everything was great It was our second time staying there. If I had to comment on one thing I would have the trash removacommentmore often. We got there on a Sunday and all the trash sites were overflowing with trash and when we left on Tuesday no one had touched the trash yet And of course my campsite was next to the trash site.

Showers did not properly for the ones that actually had hot water. I took a shower that had uncontrollable temperature and was unsafe - the water got scalding hot with no ability to adjust the temp. No dish washing station in tent area. No close water access for fire bucket/fire safety. Loved the property and creek. Staff was lovely.

When we arrived it had already gotten dark, we could barely see to set up our tent. What made it way worse was the person who had used the site before us decided to make a fire on the tenting area and there were rocks and wood and ash. We had to clear it all before being able to set up our tent. I would think that camp staff should take a look at each site before new campers come.

We got to the campsite and found another family already setup so we had to move next door. The showers did not have warm or hot water. Some family members had a hard time finding the carnival. Not enough bathrooms for the amount of groups there. We will not be staying there again unfortunately.

We have gone for the past 7 years for a group camp. When Carol and her family ran it. Was always so wonderful clean taken care of. This year our site was full of trash rude when we told them. Multiple friends camping said the same thing. Used to love it but whoever is running it now is doing a terrible job and was really not the same experience as all the years before.

We stayed in the Oaks and had such a wonderful time! All common areas were clean, staff were all incredibly kind and helpful and amenities were great. The Halloween carnival made the stay for my son!

Bathroom light wasn’t working and bathrooms weren’t very clean. Lots of trash left behind in our campground by previous campers. We also thought the that zip line price was kind of high for a one time thing.

I understand tent camping. We have done a lot of it. But our campsite was full of ants. Tiny ants. And yes spiders are fine too but when you have about 50 plus spiders….. I think as I am looking at buying a campground I would spray to minimize bugs. The showers. I think they clean the restrooms once in the morning. And hot shower, not really. More of a trickle cold.

We reserve two group camp sites. There is no water at the campsites. And only two showers for the entire campground area. For the price we paid definitely would not recommend or be back.

We stayed this past weekend, and unfortunately, it was a horrible experience. The office staff was extremely rude and lacked any sense of customer service. I personally experienced this, and I also witnessed them being disrespectful to other guest. The facility is going down the hill and not being kept up broken or not clean. Very disappointed.

The camping experience was very pleasant. The customer care was top notch. The things ready for our son to enjoy were really fun and the facilities, for the most part were well kept. The camp site was very nice and welcoming. We had an amazing experience and would come back again for sure.

We come ever year and have a great time! However this year there was broken glass all around our camp site. We understand you can only do so much and that normally isn’t the case but wanted to mention it regardless.

The amenities and STAFF were outstanding!! Complaints:1)I called security 3 times betwn 9:00 and 11:30pm Friday to complain about the noise the large group in OAK 12-15 was making. They never quieted down AND they were playing a full game of soccer at 6:30 Saturday morning! What Quiet Hours? 2) The shower was nothing but a trickle, no pressure. 3) The pool needed skimming, badly. Thank you.

I stayed at Ventura Ranch KOA over the weekend and had such a great experience. We booked one of the cabins, and it was fully loaded—honestly, all we had to do was show up and enjoy. It made the trip super easy and stress-free. The pool opened early, which was a nice bonus, and there were so many activities to keep everyone entertained. The zip lines were a highlight, and kids will love things like gem mining and tie-dye. There's definitely no shortage of fun things to do. One of the coolest parts of the stay was seeing wild peacocks wandering around the property—it added a really unique touch to the whole experience. Overall, it was a fun, relaxing getaway, and I'm already looking forward to going back!

We rented a cabin and froze the first night bc there were no instructions on how to operate the "digital" heater. Also it did not state on the website that none of the children's activities were open during the week, which is when we were there during spring break. 😡
