We were very disappointed in this KOA. There was a lot of litter on the ground in our site, half-eaten apples, and other trash strewn about. The bathrooms were dirty, trash cans were full and the peacocks were noisy. The showers were also dirty and it took forever to get hot water. We will not stay here again!

My grandson and I had a wonderful time from the moment we arrived. The staff people were all helpful, cheerful, friendly, and professional. Our site was beautiful. The scenery was stunning. The peacocks were a joy to watch. The pool was lovely. The zipline and obstacle course were the highlight. My grandson even made a friend who lives in the same city as he does (out of state). Best ever!

We stayed in the pine area. I love the large lots and all the trees. We had some low hanging trees. I called and they came out right away to cut them. Great customer service, office staff was wonderful.

This was our first time staying at Ventura Ranch KOA, and it did not disappoint! We stayed in a patio site and had plenty of room for us and our boys. We didn’t need to on-site restrooms, but the appeared clean and well attended. The kids activities were great! Awesome adventure park, and the pool was great. Very peaceful at night as well….will stay again!

Great stay. Other then B-41 not being level took all my levelers to make it so, it was good. Friendly staff. Quiet campground.

The staff was great! The trees were really nice and it felt remote. The pool was freezing, too cold even for the kids. There appeared to be solar heating so hopefully they will get it fixed. Cars were driving really fast on the road in the campground, so be carefull with your little kids as there are blind turns and not much room to react.

Bathrooms were horrible. One was locked and unusable, another had half the shower head that didn’t flow water, and the last shower was blah. We found two other showers in another section of the park, and those were blah. Push button water is frustrating. Water was not very hot and stream was weak. Not KOA best showing. Park itself is nice. Lots of stuff for kids to do when it’s open.

Worst shower facilities I’ve ever experienced. At Birch area, the pilot light of water heater goes off and nobody comes around to check on it. Shower faucet is a pathetic. Can’t easily adjust temperature. Invest some money to upgrade!

Great site loved the peacocks that greeted us in the morning. Staff was very helpful with low tire pressure on the camper.

We would definitely return. Though I wish our spot had more shade, but it looked like the tree had been recently cut down. We were a bit disappointed that it was communicated the gem mining would be open every day, but it seemed closed the whole time. The rock climbing was also closed. I think more communication about the activities, and how to use/book them would be helpful.

Nice place to visit, our site 36 was not very level but we enjoyed the view, looking forward to bringing some of the grandkids next trip.

We had a great time! The showers could’ve been a bit better. The pressure was poor and one was clogged. But other than showers, everything else was awesome :) I hope someday a hot tub will be added where the pool is!

Part of a Family group with lots of little kids. Staff was able to secure the 'Alder' loop for reserving until all sites were secured by us. That is what led to an amazing weekend for my 2 y/o grandson's birthday party. Alder loop was secure so kids could ride their bikes and play in the middle area. We adults could then use the fire pit when they went to bed. No hassles, staff was the best.

Beautiful campground, all the staff we met were very friendly. Lots of different things for kids and adults to do. Peacocks were pretty but a bit loud at times.

This is undoubtably the worst KOA we have ever experienced. It is way off any highways typical for KOAs, the parking spots are difficult to get out in and out of, there was no laundry, the attendant was lacking in knowledge about the facility and wasn't very helpful. In some places the trees are not trimmed enough to clear the top of our RV. I could go on but there isn't room.

Park is in need of serious maintenance. Bathrooms were not clean, moldy grout. That's if you can find one that works. Staff was pleasant.

We have stayed in about two dozen KOAs in the US and Canada in recent years and Ventura Ranch holds two records for us. First, it was the most expensive KOA we have ever stayed in (although Key West KOA is coming up for this fall) and second, when we arrived a few days after Easter, our patio was covered with smashed Easter eggs, and I don't mean the plastic kind. It was gross.

to start, no enthusiastic greeting upon arrival...it was like I was making the women work now...Had a patio site...the patio was mostly covered in sand as well as the table...furniture strewn about the patio...no wifi, no cable and no over the air tv...store was suppose to be open until 7:00 PM...went to get ice at 6:40, store was closed...sign with store hours was removed from the door...

It was ok. Nothing earth shattering. Our site was not level at all. With all my levelers I was still off 2 inches side to side. Booked a full hookup, but somehow ended up with no sewer connection. Internet was terrible. But other than that, very relaxing and nice walks.

Campground was great and very clean. Loved the area and the activities for the kids. Only problem is had was the campsite I was at. A26 is next to bathroom and bathroom path is not marked clearly so we had several campers walk through our site to get to bathroom.
