Stayed in Cabin 1 above Alder Circle. Heater does not work - staff member provided space heater. Hot water very limited. Could not get hot water at kitchen sink. Bathroom sinks required long period of pouring before hot water flowed. Great / friendly staff.

Absolutely wonderful. The grounds were beautiful kept. The staff were amazing. Knowledgeable. Helpful. Polite. I’ve shared on my fb. Can’t wait to book a repeat visit.

We stayed in a camping camp closer to the bounce pad in Nov '25. We typically tent camp, so this felt like glamping. Our cabin was small, but perfectly sized for two able adults and one child. We did bring our own camp chairs; there was no patio furn at this one. We also have our own camp stuff (knives, our own coffee) but the basics were here. Bed was cozy and there was plenty of hot water.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The park was clean. Bathrooms were well maintained, very clean. We stayed in a covered wagon for 2 nights. The beds were comfy. The wagon was clean. Plenty of activities for the kids to do. Their was obvious renovations going on but overall we had a wonderfully stay and would return.

Would not let us reschedule our visit after we found out about the downpour all weekend. We checked in and rain wouldn't let up. All activities were closed, were everything was muddy or puddled over. Couldn't even set up a campfire. No room in cabins to do anything and were trapped inside. Left a night early since we couldn't do anything and wasted a lot of money. Don't know if we will come back.

We had a wonderful stay! Our cabin was more than comfortable for our family of 4 and there was plenty to do. Francisco went out of his way to be a gracious host and ropes course teacher. Linens could have been cleaner but they were replaced quickly.

We had a wonderful time. The staff was supportive and caring. The only observation I would like to make is in terms of the condition of the bathroom. They need a remodel badly. In addition, there is dust on the doors and it really does not feel very clean. That reflects negatively on the KOA product.Aside from that it was great.

great experience other than after we check in the door code was not changed correctly, when I called the office no one picked up so I had to drive back to the office to ask then to send someone, waited about 45 min for someone to come down and set that up. Not the best start after a 4-hour drive to get there but we were able to enjoy the rest of the trip

We have been coming to the KOA in Ventura for about 4-5 years now at Halloween. We love being able to decorate our site (although we've never won), the kids love dressing up and being able to "trick or treat," and the carnival is a great end to a fabulous, relaxing weekend. The grandkids also love the crafts, and playing in the creek. Looking forward to next year! Susan

The 1st cabin we were given (CR14) had a nice porch but no stairs to access it. Asked to be moved and they gave us cabin CR1. Nice but no hot water for 4 days & 3 nights even after asking at the office 4 times for it to be fixed. The bed was the worst thing we have ever slept on. AWFUL!! The staff was VERY friendly but unable to help with hot water problem. This was our 2nd visit here & our last

LOVED everything about this campground. So much fun to be had. Really loved all that they had for Halloween with the site decorating, trick or treating and carnival.

Glamping is funny- hotel prices but you get WAY less. Showers were cold and had no water pressure. TeePees were very cold at night so be prepared for that. Also the flooring was falling apart so I tripped about 17x throughout the weekend in the dark (yes, even during the day). Besides it being overpriced, we had a great time- there's lots to do at this campground.

The price we pay to stay here was not worth it .We stay in the wagon C, inside had a lot of spiders and very dusty everywhere. The bathroom was very dirty , shower did not work well and dirty. The pool was dirty, no one clean the pool. The trashcan around the campsite was full and the crows was pulling the trash out. I would not recommend this campsite for my family/friends.

We have stayed many times at this KOA. We were disappointed by the cleanliness, upkeep, and lack of a refrigerator. The team did, provide us with a deep freezer outside the cabin to rectify the lack of a freezer in the tiny refrigerator that was placed in the cabin. Cabin 7 had dust on all surfaces. We had to wash the dishes before using them. Lightbulbs were out and broken trim falling off.

We come every year for my son's school campout. We absolutely love it here. Our cabin is clean, roomy and bed is comfortable. My son loves riding his bike around, swinging on the swings, jumping on the jump pad and swimming in the pool. The staff is super helpful and polite. The creek is also a plus. It's something I look forward to every year!

Tv in cabin is misleading, it doesn’t connect to WIFI and no one really knew if it should work or not. WiFi is absolutely bad , no service at all

The activities were fun and the TeePee was a fun way to camp. Unfortunately the trash by the playground did not get collected once while we were there and it was overflowing.

We love this KOA location but the bathrooms and shower by the pool have not been repaired for at least 8 months. Other than that this place is amazing.

This was our first time staying with KOA. I was disappointed with the cabin because none of the outlets worked in the loft. There was an extension cord in there so we used it to plug in at the bottom. We told front desk we had no hot water, they told us what to do and we ran the water for an hour and nothing. I booked a cabin for hot water for my 4 month old. Upset we didn't get what we paid for.

Very unkept. Spiderwebs inside and outside of the cabin. The picnic table had left over food on it. The pool was nasty (inside and out). My covered patio had spiders and a hornets nest that I disturbed trying to clean the place. You knew I was coming but didn't do anything to welcome me. There was trash on the ground that no one picked up. I saw the RV area being cleaned, why not my area?

We really enjoyed our stay. We can't wait to return in the future. Beautiful campground and plenty of activities for children. Only - the showers urgently require an update. Cleanliness was so,so - but more importantly the water pressure was horrible and it was next to impossible to shower. With updated showers this would have been a 5* stay

We enjoyed the park and our teepee. We were very disappointed with the shower and the restrooms. One shower was out of order, and the other one should have been. The knob to adjust the temperature was not working correctly. The water was either scolding hot or ice cold. Very unsafe as it would seem fine then progressively get hotter and hotter. Restrooms were just run down and not in good repair.

The staff is lovely and helpful. The cabins are clean (at least when you get there as we get them pretty dirty during our stay). I love the peacocks and all the activities. The pool is so great.

We love it there and this is our third trip. Unfortunately this trip had a lot of problems. We never had hot water, the bench outside our cabin snapped in half while we were sitting on it, and despite reporting these problems we never got them repaired. We still love the facility but a bit less impressed this year.

NO WIFI , NO AC , had to switch cabins TWICE, campground is run down, holes in ground covered with wood. I've given KOA thousand and I will not stay again after this.

There wasn't much for my kids to do there. My son was too skinny for the obstacle course and the rock maze was super lame. The air wasn't on when I arrived and it was so hot I couldn't sleep. We used the pool and that was fun, but we weren't able to make a campfire any of the nights we were there.

The cabin had broken stairs (2 of them need to be fixed before someone is hurt) and AC didn't work well but it was hot muggy weather! We will most likely be back in March but want to rent the big 2 bedroom cabin as kids rented the tp tent and wagon that had no ventilation.

It was very family friendly all around good time, relaxing enjoyable fun definitely coming back again shortly already recommended my entire family. They’re all looking into it. Great memories catered to all my kids from different ages.

This is our second annual visit in the Summer to Ventura Ranch. The grounds are fantastic- offering so much to do! My kids' favorites are the ziplines, Santa Paula creek, bike trails, and peacock friends. There is plenty of shade. The staff we interacted with are super friendly and helpful. (Shout out to Frankie and Jesse!) We stay in the cabins and they have most everything we need.

Enjoyed staying at the KOA. Kids especially enjoyed the pool, bounce pillow, & mining for gemstones. Never camped before so we decided to rent a deluxe cabin. It was clean & comfy. It is supposed to supply all basic needs but be aware you will need to pack a sharp knife & paper towels if you want them. Also, we brought our own wood and lighter which was good because they were sold out.

We had a wonderful stay! Our TeePee space was incredible (3 & 4). Our neighbors staying in the covered wagon were less then good neighbors. They were loud well after quiet hours. We asked them to please be quiet as our kids were trying to sleep (10:30pm) so they moved inside but they were up to at least 2am - with loud discussion/fighting. We were intimidated by them to say something again.
