The price we pay to stay here was not worth it .We stay in the wagon C, inside had a lot of spiders and very dusty everywhere. The bathroom was very dirty , shower did not work well and dirty. The pool was dirty, no one clean the pool. The trashcan around the campsite was full and the crows was pulling the trash out. I would not recommend this campsite for my family/friends.

We have gone for the past 7 years for a group camp. When Carol and her family ran it. Was always so wonderful clean taken care of. This year our site was full of trash rude when we told them. Multiple friends camping said the same thing. Used to love it but whoever is running it now is doing a terrible job and was really not the same experience as all the years before.

We have stayed many times at this KOA. We were disappointed by the cleanliness, upkeep, and lack of a refrigerator. The team did, provide us with a deep freezer outside the cabin to rectify the lack of a freezer in the tiny refrigerator that was placed in the cabin. Cabin 7 had dust on all surfaces. We had to wash the dishes before using them. Lightbulbs were out and broken trim falling off.

We come every year for my son's school campout. We absolutely love it here. Our cabin is clean, roomy and bed is comfortable. My son loves riding his bike around, swinging on the swings, jumping on the jump pad and swimming in the pool. The staff is super helpful and polite. The creek is also a plus. It's something I look forward to every year!

The place is a great family place, but could really use some improvements and love. The pool restroom floor is falling in, the kids playground isn’t in great shape and is in dire need of sun shades and there are cabins that are being worked on with materials left all over the place and it looks so messy and uncared for. Also the pool is nice but not heated and too cold to use.

Tv in cabin is misleading, it doesn’t connect to WIFI and no one really knew if it should work or not. WiFi is absolutely bad , no service at all

Disappointed. We had 2 rigs & stayed in Pines-because the website says GRAVEL & neither of our spouses like dirt. There was no gravel! Plus, a lot of trash & debris around the sites: disposal glove,sock,kid's toy etc. Tables were dirty. We assume they were busy all weekend (Halloween),we arrived late Monday, you'd think they had time to clean up? We just left 2 campgrds that rake the sites daily!

The activities were fun and the TeePee was a fun way to camp. Unfortunately the trash by the playground did not get collected once while we were there and it was overflowing.

We love this KOA location but the bathrooms and shower by the pool have not been repaired for at least 8 months. Other than that this place is amazing.

We stayed in the Oaks and had such a wonderful time! All common areas were clean, staff were all incredibly kind and helpful and amenities were great. The Halloween carnival made the stay for my son!

Service from staff, especially Tory was great. Did not like the dump station prefer sewer at campsite. It would be nice if other campers would keep off private sites exercising their dogs, or atleast pickup afterwards.

It was a wonderful experience. Loved all the different ways to have a great time. Zip line, pillow jumping, crafts, maze and crafts. The only area I felt needed a bit more care is cleaning the trash left all around the grounds. Keeping it clean is a must. Can’t wait to do the tee pees next!!! Thanks again!!! One happy camper!!!

We enjoy staying at Ventura Ranch KOA. The area is beautiful and we enjoy watching the peacocks roam around on the property.

Bathroom light wasn’t working and bathrooms weren’t very clean. Lots of trash left behind in our campground by previous campers. We also thought the that zip line price was kind of high for a one time thing.

All shower heads need to be replaced in the bathrooms near the pull thru RV section. Some of the lights in the showers aren't working either. Other than that it is always a great stay. My family and I have been coming here for years. The peacocks visiting the camp site is always a plus. We love KOA Holiday, Santa Paula.

The Camp Site was nice. The Staff was great. The issue was that the adjacent site parked their car in our space. They used our camp site table for their party and when we got back they moved bikes and toys out of our section. Once we set up our power and water, their kids would ride their bikes over our power cables and water hoses. They just used what they wanted and violated our space.

I understand tent camping. We have done a lot of it. But our campsite was full of ants. Tiny ants. And yes spiders are fine too but when you have about 50 plus spiders….. I think as I am looking at buying a campground I would spray to minimize bugs. The showers. I think they clean the restrooms once in the morning. And hot shower, not really. More of a trickle cold.

This was our first time staying with KOA. I was disappointed with the cabin because none of the outlets worked in the loft. There was an extension cord in there so we used it to plug in at the bottom. We told front desk we had no hot water, they told us what to do and we ran the water for an hour and nothing. I booked a cabin for hot water for my 4 month old. Upset we didn't get what we paid for.

Enjoyed our stay, only issue I had was a low hanging tree branch at Birch, site 31. The branch brushed the roof on my new truck camper, a real bummer! For reference, my unit height is 12’8”

Very unkept. Spiderwebs inside and outside of the cabin. The picnic table had left over food on it. The pool was nasty (inside and out). My covered patio had spiders and a hornets nest that I disturbed trying to clean the place. You knew I was coming but didn't do anything to welcome me. There was trash on the ground that no one picked up. I saw the RV area being cleaned, why not my area?

all of the staff were amazing: friendly helpful and knowledgeable. The park is very well kept up. The pool was nice. (would love to see a jacuzzi!) lots of peacocks fun to watch. they were no problem at all. it seems the primary attraction is the obstacle course. we are seniors with grown kids so not interested in that. not much else to do but we still had a nice time. very relaxing

We really enjoyed our stay. We can't wait to return in the future. Beautiful campground and plenty of activities for children. Only - the showers urgently require an update. Cleanliness was so,so - but more importantly the water pressure was horrible and it was next to impossible to shower. With updated showers this would have been a 5* stay
