Excellent cabin accommodations made for a comfortable stay in inclement weather. We enjoyed the view and nature! Staff is very friendly and helpful. Perfect getaway for our family of 5.

We booked the deluxe cabin with 2 bedrooms and a sleeping loft, and they gave us a 1 bedroom with bunk. We had to delay check in for an hour in the rain, but they eventually gave us another cabin. There were also quite a bit of broken/not working amenities, like the gem mining, TV, fireplace, and WiFi. The staff was very nice though.

We had a great time hanging out with family and friends! Our twins celebrated their birthday at the Soar adventure course. The crew that took care of us were so friendly. We want to plan to come back next year already!

Stayed in Cabin 1 above Alder Circle. Heater does not work - staff member provided space heater. Hot water very limited. Could not get hot water at kitchen sink. Bathroom sinks required long period of pouring before hot water flowed. Great / friendly staff.

Loved the campground. Needs cleaning, we picked up quite a bit of trash at playground and jump pillow. Same with bathrooms. Needing some maintenance

Upper showers near Birch could use some maintenance. The Hot/Cold knobs free spin. The 3rd shower (far right) if standing in front was so hot, you couldn't use it. We love Alder, it would be nice to see some improvement to the concrete drive paths and the RV sites themselves.

This is a very nice KOA. The bathrooms are clean. The KOA is huge. I’m glad we got a pull through spot. The labyrinth was cool. We did not do the zip line.

We stayed in a camping camp closer to the bounce pad in Nov '25. We typically tent camp, so this felt like glamping. Our cabin was small, but perfectly sized for two able adults and one child. We did bring our own camp chairs; there was no patio furn at this one. We also have our own camp stuff (knives, our own coffee) but the basics were here. Bed was cozy and there was plenty of hot water.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The park was clean. Bathrooms were well maintained, very clean. We stayed in a covered wagon for 2 nights. The beds were comfy. The wagon was clean. Plenty of activities for the kids to do. Their was obvious renovations going on but overall we had a wonderfully stay and would return.

The only issue we had was turning around with a 43' class A motorhome, because of the large trees. Some of the branches catch on the top of the motorhome and bent the ladder on the back end.

Overall a great place to stay. Lots of options. Very nice how spaced out it is, great activities for the kids.

Would not let us reschedule our visit after we found out about the downpour all weekend. We checked in and rain wouldn't let up. All activities were closed, were everything was muddy or puddled over. Couldn't even set up a campfire. No room in cabins to do anything and were trapped inside. Left a night early since we couldn't do anything and wasted a lot of money. Don't know if we will come back.

We've stayed here four times. This place has it all! It's a great place for families. It's safe. You're surrounded by nature. Friendly staff. Convenient store. Campfires. Close to town if you don't feel like cooking and want to grab food. A beautiful creek. Just an extremely convenient hidden getaway!

Everything was great other than the showers. We had trouble with two out of the three that were in our area. One didn’t get warm and the other was difficult to turn on. The kids had a great experience at the zip lines. Kudos to Freddie, he was an amazing host. Thank you Freddie!

We loved pretty much everything about our stay. Only complaint we have is how fast the cars drive through the resort. The resort could benefit from speed bumps. We rode our bikes daily & each day vehicles sped by our group going much faster than the posted 10mph speed limit. My grandchildren got scared to the point that one of them refused to ride their bike for fear of getting hit by a car.

Office staffs were super friendly and helpful which made our stay enjoyable. The only downside was the closure of the pool and climbing wall which was not indicated on the website and the kids were disappointed.

Everything was great It was our second time staying there. If I had to comment on one thing I would have the trash removacommentmore often. We got there on a Sunday and all the trash sites were overflowing with trash and when we left on Tuesday no one had touched the trash yet And of course my campsite was next to the trash site.

We had a wonderful stay! Our cabin was more than comfortable for our family of 4 and there was plenty to do. Francisco went out of his way to be a gracious host and ropes course teacher. Linens could have been cleaner but they were replaced quickly.

Tiny "dog park". No water & in the sun. Not everyone has kids. Actually, my off-leashed dogs LOVED frolicking through and over the boulders in the labrynth more than the silly dog park. Yes, we broke the rules, but actually the highlight of our trip to see them so happy. Also, the dump station is in a horrible spot and you need two to cut down on wait. "Beginner" zip line would have nice.

I stayed at Ventura Ranch KOA over the weekend and had such a great experience. We booked one of the cabins, and it was fully loaded—honestly, all we had to do was show up and enjoy. It made the trip super easy and stress-free. The pool opened early, which was a nice bonus, and there were so many activities to keep everyone entertained. The zip lines were a highlight, and kids will love things like gem mining and tie-dye. There's definitely no shortage of fun things to do. One of the coolest parts of the stay was seeing wild peacocks wandering around the property—it added a really unique touch to the whole experience. Overall, it was a fun, relaxing getaway, and I'm already looking forward to going back!

We rented a cabin and froze the first night bc there were no instructions on how to operate the "digital" heater. Also it did not state on the website that none of the children's activities were open during the week, which is when we were there during spring break. 😡
