We love this spot, however, frequent cleaning is necessary. Shower was not working, swimming pool was not clean. Sewage smell was around the pool. Please pay attention to those. Else no complains.

Overall, it was a great stay. Bathrooms were clean leading up to our departure and grounds were kept clean as well. The kids enjoyed the zipline, natural water source and ability to run around in nature safely.

The place is really nice, kids loved the campground. First time there. Cabin was ok for the weekend stay, a little dusty but we are out there in the nature right!. But we had a great stay.

Showers need to be closer to sites without full hookups. The shower that we used had very low water pressure.

The campsite we stayed at, Spot 33, was decent. However, the only place to access water nearby was close to the restroom. The shower facilities didn’t have hot water, and to use a shower with warm water, we had to drive up the hill. The shower area was also poorly maintained and full of dead bugs. We were told the pool would be closed so none of the adults brought shorts or swimwear! We were extremely happy they opened the pool early & our teens were able to use the pool & the other amenities and had a blast. We stayed in one of the deluxe cabins that worked really well for our family of 5. It was very clean and we were very comfortable. We had a really great time and hope to return.

We had a great time! I wish that the trails and other amenities were marked better since you run into one sign that says go this way and then there’s never another sign telling you your going in the right direction. Other than that, our tent site was clean, the people around us weren’t loud thanks to the quiet time hour. Enjoyable all around, we will be coming back.

I liked the fact that the picnic table was concrete and not made out of wood. The bathroom was clean. The zip lining was available while we stayed,which my kids had lots of fun.

We had problems with the AC that were never fully resolved, the firepit and grill were not clean of ash and trash from the last person, neither was the coffee pot. The sink in the bathroom was clogged and we had issues flushing the toilet. On top of all of that, we feel as though the description and photos of the cabin we chose did not match what we were given. We will probably not return.

It was off peak when we went so we are able to enjoy the pool, playground and world labyrinth. We occupied CP04 Deluxe Cabin. The cabin offers comfortability. Bath towels are all clean but some lints a lot. Things to improve. 1. Wet and dry mop the floor 2. Install roof or tarp in patio to enjoy dinning and bonfire outside when its raining. CP04 3. Add laundry facility 4. Add hot sauna

My only real complaints would be that the mattress in our loft was filthy/stained and I questioned if I should have my child sleep on it and that given these weeks are Spring Break, I would think more activities would be scheduled. Tuesday had none and the larger mining machine was off.

This was a great find at the end of the day. The staff were very nice directing me to my site when I had difficulty finding it. The campground is kind of out of the way. It’s also very loud with Peacocks screeching most of the night. But in a beautiful canyon which was nice

I love the many attractions for kids. Only thing is there was no explanation at KOA website that approaching to sleeping loft is by ladder instead of stairs. We had to warn the kids to be careful whey they went up and down. Overall this campground is very attractive. Thank you.

Honestly we had a wonderful time. A few things the rv campground need to be cemented the dirt is just too much. In my opinion the rv camp sites are a little too close to one another, I don’t like the fact that when I tried to sleep with my window open I was get a very very foul smell from outside. The staff was wonderful, the guide for the zip line Franky was awesome out all our worries at ease.

Our family had a great stay in Cabin 5. We were so excited the pool was open already (although it would have been good to know before we showed up, as we weren't completely prepared with swim stuff). We'd love to come back next year at the same time if the pool was open. Also, there was no hot water in our cabin. They came to repair it but didn't seem to work. Overall a great stay, though!

It was a lovely campground. Our cabin, had no cold warm water for our showers after the 1st night. The bathrooms and showers for the campground, near us were honestly so gross. I usually will alway come back to KOAs but not this one. The location was beautiful & the campground was not terrible but for the cost I did expect more.

We had a fantastic time. Very clean campground. Only wish there were more than one way to quickly get down to the “fun” area (dog park) from the upper campgrounds, perhaps add in another staircase?

The grounds are very nice. I don’t think it’s right to charge $305 a night for an area you can’t use. We were in NBC1. It looked like the best cabin there. We arrived late so we couldn’t really tell the layout. The next day our area was overtaken by the peafowl birds. We discovered that there was peafowl excrement everywhere. On our deck, patio, firepit area and our shoes.. EVERYWHERE!!

The activities and landscape are incredible. Ryan at the front is a doll and very helpful. It’s nice having the river and hiking so close by. Most of the girls tried the zip line and rope course and absolutely loved it! The only road bump was many things in multiple cabins was not working, including the air conditioning and they never came out to fix it.

We loved the cabin and everything worked inside it. And thank you for opening the pool for Troop since we booked the two group tent sites as well. The kids enjoyed the pool to cool down.

Great. I was very glad you opened up the pool early as it was a hot weekend. On another note when I arrived there was no water on in the bathroom. I called and was told there was a leak and not sure when back on. What I appreciated was that a team member of yours called me back to tell me it was fixed and I really appreciated the extra effort.

The property was very clean and well managed! My kids loved the jump pillow and bike track! Everything went very smooth with my son’s zipping experience. It was a very fun time and so grateful for the time we had with no issues. Thanks Ventura koa!

Beautiful deluxe cabin. Kitchen was nice however we did not know that there was no oven, and we had planned for anoven dish. Notes: Shower drain was blocked, we find ourselves standing in water when taking a shower; no oven; weber grill was low on propane; the blankets on the bunk beds were TOO SMALL not even twin sized, only good for a small child, my kids are taller than I am!

This was my first time at your KOA. The park is lovely, family friendly and very well kept up. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely reserve in the future.

Our stay was nice; however, our campsite was right behind the cabins. Whoever was in the cabins was very loud and did not follow the quiet time rules. also there is not enough light when walking through the campground, and it is very dark. There is no light outside the showers and restrooms so in order to see the keypad you need to have a flashlight or your phone's light.

Very cramped site when there were more spread out sites of same capability available. No reason to shove us tight into a small spot next to other camper just because we have a short trailer. Talking about B36 spot, it is designed too close to B37. Almost no campfire room, bench was literally touching the campfire ring. Also bathroom access was far away and limited as closest bathroom was closed.

I thought the campgrounds were clean and nice. A lot of things for the kids to do and the zip line was the best. The only dislike was cabin CR21. We had problems with kitchen lights coming in and some of the outlets did not work. It had a funky musty smell as well. I enjoyed all of the beautiful peacocks as well. Next time I will request a cabin closer to office, looking over the creek.

Upon arrival I noticed the bench on my site was broken and could not sit on it. I told the office personnel which they said someone would go out there and swap it out. The following day around 11am I went t back to the office and let them know again since they didn't change my bench. I went again around 3pmto remind them. Finally at 5:30pm they swapped it out. It took a 1.5 days to fix issue.

This was our 4th time venturing out! I enjoyed the quietness of the grounds. Everyone on the staff was helpful and friendly with any questions I had. I booked again for September.

Was very disappointed in this KOA. Worse one I have been in. Far below a KOA standard. They set out rules but no enforcement. Speed 5 mph but even staff are driving around at more like 30 mph. Kids on e-bikes nearly ran me over several times going close to 40 mph. Rule of no music is laughable. Multiple campers had big speakers and music playing. Definitely not worth the $$$ I paid.

I stayed at Ventura Ranch KOA over the weekend and had such a great experience. We booked one of the cabins, and it was fully loaded—honestly, all we had to do was show up and enjoy. It made the trip super easy and stress-free. The pool opened early, which was a nice bonus, and there were so many activities to keep everyone entertained. The zip lines were a highlight, and kids will love things like gem mining and tie-dye. There's definitely no shortage of fun things to do. One of the coolest parts of the stay was seeing wild peacocks wandering around the property—it added a really unique touch to the whole experience. Overall, it was a fun, relaxing getaway, and I'm already looking forward to going back!

We rented a cabin and froze the first night bc there were no instructions on how to operate the "digital" heater. Also it did not state on the website that none of the children's activities were open during the week, which is when we were there during spring break. 😡
