Such a beautiful campground. Family friendly, very clean and the sites and sounds of the peacocks add to a great experience. We will definitely be back!!

Loved the Alder loop and the Peacocks. We have a group of 4 RVs and very much liked the center grass/fire pit area.

There was a driveway/road right behind our campsite people were driving pretty fast on it. (Is that a through road to somewhere else?) We unexpectedly had to bring our 2yo grandson with us. I was terrified. Would have talked to the office but I got sick and had to home early anyways.

Campground has great potential with lots of amenities for kids. However it is either understaffed or staff needs more training. When checking in with 40' 5th wheel there was no guidance on best way to approach back in site. Just told this is your site #. Then there was no number at site, it was hidden behind a bush. The sewage smell was constant throughout the stay. The cabins are great but needs to be better maintained. The ac was very dusty so having it on, it was just blowing dust otherwise the cabin was fairly clean. But the outside of the cabins and the patio furniture was filled with cobwebs. We had a teepee but didn’t use it bc the wooden bed frames had mold and the top of the teepee had cobwebs.

We stayed in one of the teepees. It was nice, the bed was good. The teepee could’ve been cleaned a bit more from spiderwebs. The door didn't reach the bottom was concerned about critters and insects coming in. No working showers near us, had to walk up the hill, those showers were clean. The obstacle and zip line course was great. The employees running the place were awesome and very kind.

We had a great time and celebrated a major birthday and family reunion there. We rented many cabins just had an issue with a few not having any hot water but propane was brought to one of the cabins quickly. We had a great time and will definitely be back!

Need to fix the showers. A small trickle of water takes a long time to clean yourself. The only reason I used the showers was because there is only 5 sites with full hookups and unfortunately they all booked up. Other issue is lots of people cutting thru campsites maybe mentioning this at check in so people know common campground etiquette. The campground is clean. Wading in the stream was nice.

The zip line is only available certain hours of the day if you miss it that’s it. Children were so disappointed. We tried again the next day and it was unavailable. The only thing this part has to offer is a dirty cold pool as far as crafts and entertainment there’s nothing I would not call this KOA standards.

Sucked ! By the time you check in there is nothing available to do. The zip lining is already closed for the day and was not even opened the next day before checkout so disappointing for the children wasting money and time does not measure up to any KOA standard no crafts offered would not recommend would not return

After check-in a NOTE in our cabin informed us that the water was to be turned off the following day. This information should have been presented in person at check-in. The hot water on all days lasted only minutes. The WiFi never worked. The TV never worked at all causing grief with our grandkids. I will be seeking a partial refund since these conveniences are the reason we rented a cabin.

Amenities closer to the tent area need improvement. Need a sink closer to tent area, felt neglected compared to RV and cabins. Bathroom needs ventilation. Based on a photo from a few weeks before, our camp site was short a table (there were 2) as a result we didn't bring an extra table. For a first time visitor, it was hard to spot the tent # from the road. Jumping pillow and creek were great!

The park is run down needs maintenance sites are all dirt and dusty. Staff are rude. The park smells like sewage.

Lovely with beautiful grounds and roaming peacocks! Our stay was spoiled by being assigned Site A26, we booked months prior not late. It appears a walkway connecting the stairs & bathrooms was cut out & a pad added. Everyone using the stairs or bathrooms walks through the site, often apologizing as they pass. The sounds of the restroom & neon lights enhance your visit :( Staff did not try to help

We have stayed at the campground the last 5 years, but this year the campsites do not seem to be cleaned between uses. The camprings are full of ashes - we removed some of the ash ourselves. Also our campsite was full of spiderwebs which we cleaned up. This year had a lot more bugs than usual My biggest complaint was the speed that everyone drove through the campground even staff on golf carts

Our stay was great for the most part. We had a great time. I appreciate the staff and the convenient market. We experienced a couple of challenges; the smell of the septic system through our site, no hot water in the shower nearby, the pool being too cold to use. The biggest challenge was our site neighbors, I believe site 3, not following policy, and blasting loud, explicit music late at night.

We booked a group site. My family was very excited for this summer trip especially because of the activities for children. We were disappointed quickly when they told us that there are no arts/craft activities scheduled on weekdays, the adventure course costs $45 PER person on top of the camp fees, group site are not labeled, AND there’s ONLY two showers shared by the group sites and two loops.

We only stayed one night of our 2 night stay and left. It was not quite like the photos on the website depicted it to be. Our firepit was full of ash and our site had trash in it. We picked up the trash and asked for the pit to be clean and it never happened. Over all we were disappointed.

There was no water at camp for few hours but the problem was solved. We love all the amenities! This was the second time we stayed at Ventura Ranch. The personnel we friendly and helpful

We arrived and our two reserved sites was occupied by someone. Had to settle for two back in sites as we had reserved pull thru sites. Asked for a credit but were told they thought they were same price. Said they would talk to owner, but never happened. Site smelled majority of time and dumpster was overflowing entire stay. Peacocks screaming all day. Will not return or recommend.

This was an awful awful stay. Customer service was non existent! Day we arrived no electricity. Our friends had to move their cabin because there was no working hot water (which the staff was aware of beforehand but still rented the cabin out anyway). Next day water to the whole campground was turned off. no running water and the toilets were filling with urine and poo. Horrible horrible stay!

We had no hot water, no internet, we were told that we would have a propane grill so we planned our dinners on that but we didn’t have that so we wasted that food. The water was completely shut off from 9am until 7pm (notice stated it would return at 1pm and the bathrooms were so disgusting as time went on. Sent an email and no response

I love this place. It is one of my top 3 places to camp in California. They keep the grounds clean, staff is friendly, and a nice camp store.

On our second day, there was a scheduled water shut off from 9am to 1pm for maintenance. As a result, there were no restrooms available for use. The water did not come back on until almost 5 pm. When calling the office for information, no phones were being answered, for hours. I had to drive up from my cabin and ask what was going on. The restrooms were disgusting, as every toilet had feces.

I have grandkids that love to sleep in their tent. But we were told we cannot have a tent on our site along with our RV, even though every year prior we had the tent up for them. I do not understand that at all. It’s just something the kids like to do. Seems ridiculous to me to take away such a simple pleasure from their camping experience. Hoping this “rule” changes back for our future trip

Very dusty. No music allowed. Parking the rig was met with much difficulty due to uneven, deep pits in the gravel. It seemed that garbage pick up was overdue. Lexi was such a pleasant relief. She was very professional, knowledgeable and helpful during out visits to the office.

I brought my Girl Scout troop here for a weekend camping trip. My applause starts with an easy booking with Heather & Rachel. They were attentive to my questions and details. My girls and I had SO much fun! We loved the zip line adventure course the most & swimming second most. We appreciated the bathrooms & shower. The only negative was the loud peacock and neighbor that played music past

I stayed in camp site oaks 1-3. The parking was unclear and not accommodating. We were having trouble fitting our group and the next group into this parking area. It's at a dead end and you have to haul a lot of your gear a bit of a ways. Your website should reflect how this site looks and what is expected. It's extremely dusty. There's no paved roads, and everything is dry. Making our stay dirty

Everything was great except the shower. The shower appeared to have mold due to the lack of ventilation. It was very hot and steamy when taking a shower it was a bit uncomfortable. Everything else was great

We had a great time, it was our first visit and won't be our last. The pool experience was awesome and our kids loved all the attractions. The peacocks running around was super cool to experience. The only complaint I have is that the internet connection was not strong enough to surf the web or do anything meaningful while we were there. So I would plan on relying on your cellular data/starlink.

We had an incredible stay and the kids had a blast with their friends!! Staff was super helpful with after hours check-in, highlighting our specific camp details.. Absolutely wonderful! The facilities were excellent and such a fun setup for kids. The ropes course was the real highlight, challenging for both kids and parents alike. We will definitely be back!!

Some things need upkeep like the bathroom by the pool, overflowing trash cans etc. Most activities aren’t open during the week, and it was pretty noisy between the peacocks, close neighbors and other sounds.

We’ve been staying there every year in June and we like the amenities. The problem is the people that work there are not sure about the fees and we’re getting overcharged every time. Nice people just doesn’t seem to be trained properly

The shower had very little water pressure! We weren't told there were so many peacocks; they started squawking at 4:00 AM, making it impossible for us to get any more sleep. We had actually booked two nights but decided to leave after just one day!

No hot water. Called multiple times and was told someone would come help us, no one ever did. The whole campsite smelled like sewage and was poorly maintained. Would not return.
