The showers were not functioning even after telling staff, the hot water was not present. The wi-fi was not working, even though the web site offered it.

We had a 50+ camping group. Everyone loved it. The zip line, swimming pool, bouncy pillow etc. The kids had the best time of all. See you next year.

The cabin was not as pictured on the website, only activity that was opened was the zip lines. The blankets that were provided smelled so bad.. I’m unsure if it was the storage bag, but it made all linen smell.

We are so thrilled we discovered Ventura Ranch KOA. Our group had such a fun time and made so many incredible memories. Our favorites were the trampoline pillow, swimming in the creek, and conquering the zip line/adventure course. We will definitely be back! Huge shout out to Doug in the office and Frankie who were so friendly and helpful. Thank you!

We would appreciate if the restrooms were cleaned for campers during the week and not just the weekend. Also the entryway heading into the office as well. We enjoyed our stay. The pool was great! Would have enjoyed the ropes course and zip line had it not been so expensive.

Cabin was not clean, restroom smelled like urine and shower was dirty. there was pubic hair in shower floor.

Had a very good time. I really like that cabin that we stayed at only had hot water in the shower AC only really worked the day we got there. And a bad ant problem when we left in the kitchen. Up to the loft.. Mentioned this to the gal when we left. Had forgot to tell her about the hot water not happening in the kitchen sink or the bathroom sink.. Other than that it was nice .

Love the KOA! Only piece of feedback is that it is hard to get ahold of the office with simple questions without going in person and unfortunate that's the wifi doesn't work.

Stayed Friday-Sunday 08/16 - 08/19 Oak Tents bathrooms septic tank backed up or overflowed Saturday mid-day. Sewer type water/poop filled up the shower pans so no close bathrooms for 1/2 my stay. DO NOT use showers without flip-flops. Shower by Pool, no temp regulation – full blast super-hot or super cold, Pool is cold. Road Noise and no clear path to creak – it’s “through the tents somewh

We loved the pool. However the bathrooms in the tenting area were closed for most of our stay and there was no option but to frequently drive to the other bathrooms as they were quite far away. With kids this was less than ideal.

Bathroom was closed down Saturday for plumb problems, never to reopen (oaks area). Long walk in the middle of the night to find a bathroom. For our inconvenience we should of been compensted something.

We had a couple of lighting issues in NBC-2 that were called in early morning on 8/17. Also, the door code on our back patio was not working either. Ihad to leave a voice-mail as the office was still closed. Sat morning the door code was fixed but no one came back to fix theback patio lights being out completely not working & The dining area lights never worked either, no one came to fix.

So everything was great except for the fact that the campsite we were in A25 was covered in ants. I understand it's outdoors and uncontrollable but our BBQ was covered, the ground and we even had tons of ants in our trailer from it as well. We never have had ants in our trailer before. We couldn't even let our daughters play outside cause they covered our outdoor rug and the ground.

Was very disappointed with office staff booked five days but site given was in full sun when we asked to move we were charged 25 dollars and told we had to leave two days early. We are an elderly couple and my husband has heart failure we looked forward to being away for a week at Ventura ranch before he had to go into hospital again. Needless to say the experience raised his blood pressure .

Great. Spot was perfect. Pool clean. Employees were helpful and very nice. Store clean and plenty of items if you forgot something. The only thing I don’t understand is why no music. We didn’t have any problems as we don’t play it loud. I just thought that is a hard rule to follow while camping. But we will definitely be back.

To be perfectly honest I have never been more disappointed with an RV park as I was at this one. We have been going to KOA for a long time and I think they are great.If all the KOA’s were like this one I would never stay at another one and will definitely not go back to Ventura. Trash all over our site when we showed up and in the four days the restroom was not cleaned once.Disgusting Thanks To

This was our third stay this time he stayed any TV we love the surroundings we love the peacock we enjoyed the zip line and obstacle course all workers are very pleasant and we already have reservations for next year

Great tipi tent, nice location for kids of all ages. Watering hole - amazing! The bad: dozens of bees swarming on you every time you take food out and try to cook/eat. I know is nature, but there are so many spiders - they just drop on you while sitting around the fire. For a summer week-end there were no activities for kids (zip line, gem mining, rock climbing closed). Facilities out of order.

Bathrooms were severely dirty, dated and non functional. Sewage from the toilets were leaking from the manhole in pool area. Severe deferred maintenance . No pool skimmer available for debris in pool and trash cans were overflowing. We stayed in a tee pee with the glamour package and it was set up well and was great.

Unfortunately, this KOA did not meet our expectations. It is very run down and poorly maintained. Don’t even get me started on the bathrooms. We won’t be back again.

Very nice visit as usual, but The Oaks bathroom was awful. Broken light switch, no soap, no paper towels, paper all over the floor, roll of toilet paper on the dirty floor. Yuck. We called the office and politely asked if they could service it, but that never got done.

camp site is great. however the camp is under staff. the restroom was not cleaned during our entire stay. also the restroom had no soap nor paper towels after the first night. we let the front desk know but still nothing

We had a wonderful time EXCEPT the climbing wall was broken and the mining station was also not available (no reason given!) and there was only 1 Arts and craft event scheduled the whole 4 days we were there! After having been here 2 other times and all the activities were available so we were disappointed.

We enjoyed our stay, campground was nice weather was perfect. My only complaint is a big party of teenagers was there and they were occupying the bathrooms. They were only stayed a day but other than that we will be back.

Our first site had an open dumper so they moved us to the overflow under a severely spider infested tree. They told us spiders live outside when we brought it up but there was clearly no upkeep. Wolf spiders had huge webs attached to the teepees, wagon wheels, in the bathroom. We will most likely never visit this KOA again.

Our stay was great. Desk may have been overwhelmed at times. Prior to stay, contact by phone or email was a little inconsistent. Cathy did a fantastic job at handling an overwhelming demands of all. Site#23 needs a big tree trim around the charcoal grill, or small gas grill be better, and a room fan. Maybe more simple family/kid activities throughout the afternoon/early evening. Enjoyed it all!

I stayed at Ventura Ranch KOA over the weekend and had such a great experience. We booked one of the cabins, and it was fully loaded—honestly, all we had to do was show up and enjoy. It made the trip super easy and stress-free. The pool opened early, which was a nice bonus, and there were so many activities to keep everyone entertained. The zip lines were a highlight, and kids will love things like gem mining and tie-dye. There's definitely no shortage of fun things to do. One of the coolest parts of the stay was seeing wild peacocks wandering around the property—it added a really unique touch to the whole experience. Overall, it was a fun, relaxing getaway, and I'm already looking forward to going back!

We rented a cabin and froze the first night bc there were no instructions on how to operate the "digital" heater. Also it did not state on the website that none of the children's activities were open during the week, which is when we were there during spring break. 😡
