Place is not well maintained. My back in site was overgrown with weeds which impeded the amount of space for my travel trailer. I couldn’t even open the awning more than 2 feet or it would hit the weeds. These aren’t nice trees; they are weeds left to grow like brush. There was litter in my site when I arrived and the fire pit was full of ashes. They closed the restroom at 10:30 AM Sunda

Well, my stay was good as always the grandkids love the jumper pillow. The ladies in the office are always nice and friendly @ helpful. The park needs a little attention the equipment is boarded up at the swing The rock climbing seems to be still not working since a year ago and I think the sand around the jumper park needs to be cleaned @ replenished just due to the children pool not clean��

Arrived they put me in a 26' site when they knew I was 42'. they moved me to larger site still dirty and dusty everywhere. Next day moved again little less dust but dead leaves and tree branch's everywhere. Very dirty, dusty and un-maintained to say the least.

Amazing staff but there are no crafts offered on Sunday’s during off season & NO rock climbing wall & no adventure course available so basically nothing extra available that the kids love during “off season.” We would gladly pay more if these activities especially the rock climbing wall was open regularly it’s just sitting there! Pool bathrooms are run down.Cabins are getting moldy in bath

Good except we stayed in the Birch RV section where they have stopped watering the grass in the center part of the circle. Our dogs were covered in thousands of burrs which were totally unavoidable. Also there is a large Oak tree that's heavy branches spread over the drive with no way to avoid. The top of our rig sustained damage and we spoke to 2 other larger trailers that had the same problem

Loved watching the peafowl! Hated that staff put us in a spot next to the sewer vent right after someone else had been moved out of it. Avoid #13 at all costs.

There was no cable tv or Wi-Fi available, even though their website says they have internet. The shower had no hot water. The sites are nice and there’s a lot to do if you are a kid, but don’t expect to catch the game unless you bring your own hotspot.

Noise levels were high. Adults loud until 3am and then cub scouts shouting ongoing before 7am with no adults redirecting. Also, 4-500 lb man and other adults were in jumping pillow falling on young children, hurt my son twice and my other son too scared to go on it while he was there (for several hours). Staff could do a more thorough job at monitoring camp rules

Nice people, great site. The website kept crashing during the reservation process. And the site had quite a bit of trash in it. But we like this koa a lot and the Oaks sites are great.

The area around my tepee could have been cleaner....the sink nearby was not orderly, the garbage can was full...this is a Thursday. Inside the tepee there should have been at least 1-2 hooks for one's clothes or towels. No hooks or shelves for personal items in the bathroom, the same for the shower. In both rooms/areas your personal items got wet. Sorry for not saying Thank You.

Our stay at KOA Ventura Ranch tent camp site was very nice. Friendly staff at the office and around the camp grounds. Lots of activities to do on property. Facilities like bathrooms and showers maintained fairly well. Would go back!!!

Their sewer system leaks and smells so bad we had to move from one campsite to another and the worst part was they knew about it! they should lose their Koa endorsement.

We did the ropes course which was amazing. walked the creek trail, played in the pool and on the bouncy pillow and had a great time. The staff was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend the ropes course. I also stayed in a spacious and renovated cabin.

I enjoyed staying one more time in Koa. The front desk people are very nice and helpful. I just have a couple of suggestions. The sign for the Adler area is covered with bushes which makes a little hard to see for new comers. I think there should be a sign for the stairs that go to the bottom part. Just few suggestions for the new comers. Other than that, lovely place to stay.

The grounds were beautiful and were the reason we still had a wonderful time, however our cabin was not clean upon arrival (lots of food crumbs in the pull out bed, dirty floors, lots of strands of hair on bedding, etc.). Additionally, many of the activities that were the main reason we chose KOA Ventura were closed (zip line, rope course, gem mining, etc.). The website got our kids’ hopes up.

We stayed for five nights. We enjoyed our stay and very happy bathrooms were clean and so were the grounds. My only complaint was the pool. There was a lot of leaves, pine needles and some debris. I was going to clean it myself but I couldn’t find the pool skimmer so we decided not to use the pool.

Staff were very welcoming. The cost is too high, especially for off-season. I would give a 10/5 if the nightly costs were more reasonable.

Not the KOA that my parents took us as kids. I had higher expectations. Times have changed, and the new preferred customer is obviously an RV, and not a tent camper. Felt like a stepchild. Having a nice restroom was the reason I chose KOA over others. What a disappointment. Tons of amenities at this location, but that wasn’t my interest. I wanted nice bathrooms, clean, with nice shower facility

Ropes course and zip lines were heavily advertised on website, and nowhere did it mention the 70 lb weight requirement. My 66 lb daughter wasn’t allowed to do it, which was the entire reason we went here. We were so upset, and wished we were refunded for our pointless stay. The bathrooms were full of spiders and the grounds had excessive amounts of ants.

We stayed in Pine 9, beautiful site! My kids got to enjoy some early morning zip lining and overall a great stay. We took a visit to the store and I wanted to buy some memorabilia but you only carry a few shirts. I’d love to be able to purchase some stickers, key chains, sweat shirts to help promote and have memories of your location.

I am sure the KOA staff and owners are wonderful. We rented a teepee. The outside and inside of the teepee was so infested with spiders and spider webs that every time I swept the spiders off the bed they crawled back on. Therefore we left. Since we arrived late we did not contact management, but what could they have done?

Only 1 shower working near the pool, need to fix the shower because uou can not regulate temperature its too hot. Otherwise, its a nice stay

The park facilities a little tired. We were in the B (Pine) loop, but had a third party who used the park showers. They were a bit of a hike to get to rather than being near the loop. Nothing terrible, just not quite what we're used to at a KOA.

Phone inquiry prior to visit is not as pleasant but got the information I need. The teepee is ok although some minor fixes should have been done before every new family to rent them. The "door" has openings not fixed. The side panels are dirty. For 4d/3n, "full" zipline booking then you see them stop serving for few times a Day, staffing issue. Overall enjoyed coz group event.

The grounds really need some TLC! It's a beautiful location but it's in need of repairs and upgrades! The bathrooms and showers are in need of major , doors don't lock. The floor even has big holes in it! The campsites need pickets replaced and upgraded. Love the KOA but owner needs to put some work into repairing things and upgrading things. The pool area and gate/fence/ shower need work done.

This was our first time camping at a KOA. I just love all that your Koa offers. We enjoyed the pool and all the beauty around us. Also your staff member Kristy was amazing. Kristy informed us of all your koa had to offer and she made a special trip to our campsite to bring a wasp � catcher. We will definitely visit this place again .

I love coming camping here. The bathrooms are always clean and the amenities are great. The pool could be a little bit warmer. It’s freezing, but other than that we absolutely love coming every year.

We live in the city so this place is our chance to get away from it all. We stayed in the nicest cabin that is meant for 4 people max (according to their website). We were a family of 4 while our neighbor easily had 15+ people. They wanted to park 5+ cars in the small space between our cabins. It was so loud at night we could not enjoy our campfire in peace. Very disappointing stay.

I stayed at Ventura Ranch KOA over the weekend and had such a great experience. We booked one of the cabins, and it was fully loaded—honestly, all we had to do was show up and enjoy. It made the trip super easy and stress-free. The pool opened early, which was a nice bonus, and there were so many activities to keep everyone entertained. The zip lines were a highlight, and kids will love things like gem mining and tie-dye. There's definitely no shortage of fun things to do. One of the coolest parts of the stay was seeing wild peacocks wandering around the property—it added a really unique touch to the whole experience. Overall, it was a fun, relaxing getaway, and I'm already looking forward to going back!

We rented a cabin and froze the first night bc there were no instructions on how to operate the "digital" heater. Also it did not state on the website that none of the children's activities were open during the week, which is when we were there during spring break. 😡
