Only 2 things wrong air conditioning was a little problem and second buner on stove was not working stayed in cabin 7 EVERYTHING ELSE PERFECT

The park itself good for kids. However, it’s not kept up like in years past. The management is overcharging people and not identifying it. If I didn’t bring it to their attention would they have fixed it? I don’t know. Not sure we’ll be back. We had MANY family members stay for years now at this time and we were all affected (charged) differently

Bathrooms by the teepees were quite. dirty - could be because of the groups staying there. Also, there were rowdy teens in the pool with no oversight and they ended up accidentally hurting a younger child.

It was very pleasant and relaxing. Our cabin was clean and comfortable. The office staff were always very nice and helpful. We had a wonderful time!

My family and I greatly enjoy staying at Ventura Ranch KOA. We feel comfortable and safe as we enjoy time together in nature along with our dogs. We appreciate the warmth and accessibility of staff, provisions like firewood, and seeing staff around the campground at different times during the day. We intend to return in the near future.

Our Cub Scout pack loved our stay at Ventura Ranch KOA. Our older scouts loved the thrill of the ropes course and were glowing with the sense of accomplishment that comes from doing something challenging and fun. Our little scouts who couldn't participate found joy in spending the day in the pool, bouncing on the giant pillow and exploring the creek. We cant wait to return.

Oaks sites are great for more “back to nature” camping. Staff was great. The only issues were the trash cans were overflowing most of the time, and nobody was enforcing noise regulations.

Facility staff were friendly and great to deal with! The store had everything you needed, and the prices were very reasonable. Campground and facilities were clean. My kids enjoyed the campsite, the playground, the bike track, and riding around the campground. Only disappointment was the zipline being closed during the week. It looks like a lot of fun, and was tempting, but unavailable mid-week.

It was very nice there. The peacocks kept waking us up at night with their very loud HELOing. Evidently it’s mating season. Now I know not to come at this time of year. In January it was fine no night wake up calls.

I have never stayed at a KOA and we absolutely loved it! My grand-kids had the best time on the bicycle course and my own kids loved the obstacle course and I loved hanging at the pool (although could have been a little warmer is what I heard a lot of people saying)and how clean everything was, especially the bathrooms!

3rd year coming for Memorial Day. Stay in B33, arrived and grass overgrown with weeds and not maintained. Filled a grocery bag of trash from prior campers. Called office, left message, no call back. Saw a maintenance guy asked him, he said they couldn't trim now. Dealt with a child having an allergic reaction entire stay, had to be down at another tent camp because son couldn't play in our camp

We had a wonderful time at this campsite. It’s a perfect spot for families—especially with kids. There are tons of fun activities to keep them busy, from playgrounds to games and outdoor adventures. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Everything was also very clean and well maintained. Highly recommend for a fun and relaxing family getaway!

Water temperature in the showers was not very consistent. My site reservation was changed without informing me beforehand. Price was not bad at all. Location is good.

Showers in birch were filthy, only 2 of 3 showers was available as the middle one would not open because the keypad was malfunctioning and one of the two that was available had scalding hot water which didn't respond to the temperature valve. Power pedestal was falling apart and its light was out. No laundry on the premises.

Die Toiletten waren falsch alle mit Kacke beschmiert, die Wege zur Dusche waren kaum zugänglich. Es gab keine Familiendusche und der Pool war nicht gereinigt. Es fühlte sich an wie auf einer Baustelle

We enjoyed our stay with Ventura Ranch KOA. Kathy was just awesome, she helped us out with additional nights. It is a little pricey, but considering the area it is just about normal.

We booked and stayed at Ventura Ranch after having a successful KOA experience at San Diego Resort a month ago. Ventura Ranch offered more real camping experience, including bike tracks, access to the creek, and labyrinth etc. We enjoyed staying there, except pool wasn’t heated so we couldn’t get in, (it was too cold) and almost non existent and poor set up for the kids activities.

Terrible customer service, no hot water. Lights & heater in our wagon were out. Called the front desk twice and went to the office once to get the heater and lights fixed not one person showed up to fix our heater and our lights. Lady in the front desk wasn’t too friendly when we let her know about the things that were not working. So I had no choice but to leave the campsite.

Your location is good, and your property is vast and has a lot of fun things to do and see. The Zip-line is great, the pool area is nicely laid out. My negatives about this property, is that when you are paying more to camp here, I would expect a very well kept up property. I feel that more maintenance and care could be taken to clean up litter and mow/weedeat campsites prior to campers arrival.

This KOA is one of our favorites since we live very close so it's a quick way to getaway for a weekend. I would suggest that the area where the clubhouse restrooms are located needs to be tended to. There was discarded clothes & trash on the ground & the brush was very overgrown. Also, the new shower faucets were terrible. We couldn't adjust the temperature & my husband was scalded.

We loved it -the staff is welcoming and accommodating. We stayed in a safari tent with a heater, fridge and microwave! We did the zip line course and the pool was open. We walked down to the creek and it was beautiful. The peacocks were very loud but we liked -it was exciting. This was a great way to spend my husbands 57th bday.

We had a great stay here. I called ahead of time to ask for a private site and they moved us to our site 14 in pine section and it worked great. We had our dog with us and that had never camp before and wanted a site that did not bother other campers, and site 14 worked out perfect. Everyone we came across was so accommodating and we enjoyed our time at Ventura Ranch KOA and will be returning soon

I sent in a detailed list to main KOA website. Basically, I would give the office staff a 10 plus. The facilities are run down but more impirta try, not kept up.

Office personal very friendly. I tried calling twice and a recording said someone would soon get back to me. Did not happen. I also found they did not have a dump at all motor home spaces! I will not return. The area was very attractive, with a stream and a park nearby.

This campground is amazing. Perfect for kids, great cabins that are so clean. Great that you can swim in the creek. We’ll definitely be back!

Beautiful campground in the hills with lots of shade. Many amenities and lots of fun stuff to do with the family. Peacocks roam the campground which is an added bonus. Booked 2 days stay to play on the zip line & it was closed. The website stated that it was open midweek. Advise to call ahead to verify zip line hrs. They gladly refunded 1 nights stay due to the zip line mixup. Highly recommend!!

We had an AMAZING weekend and are planning our semi-annual visits. Loved the staff. Loved the grounds. Loved the noisy peacocks. Loved the pool. Loved the other guests we met poolside and in the cabin next door.bWe just needed hot water in the bathrooms and more water pressure in the kitchen. Those are the only things preventing a 5-Star rating.

I stayed at Ventura Ranch KOA over the weekend and had such a great experience. We booked one of the cabins, and it was fully loaded—honestly, all we had to do was show up and enjoy. It made the trip super easy and stress-free. The pool opened early, which was a nice bonus, and there were so many activities to keep everyone entertained. The zip lines were a highlight, and kids will love things like gem mining and tie-dye. There's definitely no shortage of fun things to do. One of the coolest parts of the stay was seeing wild peacocks wandering around the property—it added a really unique touch to the whole experience. Overall, it was a fun, relaxing getaway, and I'm already looking forward to going back!

We rented a cabin and froze the first night bc there were no instructions on how to operate the "digital" heater. Also it did not state on the website that none of the children's activities were open during the week, which is when we were there during spring break. 😡
