The camp ground was clean and welcoming. The barn was so neat to see and we loved playing games inside the barn!! The camp host was really friendly and helpful. We would recommend it to anyone looking for a place to camp!!

We only stayed one night, check in was easy and fast, the desk clerk was real friendly and super helpful. The only problem we had was that the site we were in was not very level.

Nice campground! Just a little noisy due to the highway! Although being next to the hwy makes it easy to get to also. Would stay here again if in the Topeka area. Just far enough outside of the city!

The staff were SUPER friendly, as always, at this KOA. I stayed in site 29, which has a slope to it making hitching up somewhat difficult. The WIFI was decent, and I was only 1 site away from the antenna. The cable TV was poor. Some channels came in clear as a bell. Most channels were unwatchable. Quick access to highways, but also high traffic noise. I'll stay again!

Stayed overnight on a road trip. Had a level pull thru site so we didn't need to unhook our 5th wheel. Didn't use any of the amenities except electric and water. Not exactly an easy on/easy off access to the highway.

Campsite is nice, cute pond nearby. But this is second time we’ve registered in advance but get there after closing and no site designated for us. Just lucky there’s been lots of spots. And maybe that’s why.

Too much road noise-which I should be use to given many of the KOA's locations. I'll stay in the Lawrence KOA on future trips.

This is our favorite KOA! The staff is the best, always friendly and helpful! I love that the laundry is open 24/7, unlike so many other KOAs. Thank you Topeka KOA, another great visit!!!

We had a super late check-in and no one was at the office. But the staff had a map with our name on it and directions to our spot. There was no hassle and they got us in the spot we wanted. Great job guys! Cant wait to see it in the day time! (we left at 6am)

Topeka/Capital City KOA was a great stop on our way south. Called to reserve and staff was super nice. Site was easy to maneuver and bathrooms were super clean! A+

My second stay at this location was even better than the first. Great customer service, friendly staff and also good location. Most KOAs are very close to interstate highways and the traffic noise can be a concern. This KOA is a little more distant and more quiet.

We only stayed one night, so we didn't have time to use many of the amenities. However, the campground was clean and neat. Our dog enjoyed playing on the teeter totter in Kamp K9. We also liked strolling around the fishing pond and seeing the geese in the pond.

Sorry, can’t find much good to say about Topeka. Campsites very cramped, to make matters worse RVs park opposite the RV next to them so you share a “yard”, picnic area, fire ring. 2) Right on a busy freeway. Noise is beyond tolerable. 3) Hard to find - no signage anywhere. Entrance looks like an alley. 4) Beware of large unpainted speed bumps. No warning. Suspensión killers, even at slow s

Love Capital City, a Journey KOA, great place to stop over on travels! Saltwater pool in the summer, always have clean bathrooms. Quiet to sleep in tent or RV.

No fault of yours that weather was so cold in cabin #2. You might consider better insulation if you have many winter guests. I did enjoy walking in your lovely adjoining woods.

The barn has great amenities. We only used the bathrooms, but definitely appreciate the chance to do laundry and shower if needed.

We camp here for all Washburn University home games. Grandson plays football there. Great people there. Their Haunted forest on Halloween was great. As soon as I get next year’s football schedule I will make my reservations.

Besides being a little difficult to access the park there is not much evidence of improvements being made. A case in point is the shower drain in the men's bathroom. We have been at this KOA several times in the last several years and I still find myself standing in a pool of water after my shower because the drain is backed up and this has been the case for years. One of the better KOAs I've stayed at. Between the fishing ponds and the huge game room we all had fun. Stayed at a decent sized patio site. Worth the extra couple bucks.
