The Toledo area has great dining opportunities. Many restaurants featuring fine dining to family-type fare are within a short distance from the campground. And, of course, we have at least one of every fast food chain nearby!
The new Fallen Timbers upscale mall and Levis Commons await exploration. Visit the quaint local towns of Luckey and Pemberville for antique and small town shops. The Toledo Farmer's Market is open on Saturdays in the summer season. Shop for fresh fruit, vegetables, flowers and baked goods. Camping World, Bass Pro and Cabela's in Dundee, MI (40 mins. away) await outdoor enthusiasts.
The Toledo Museum of Art- Since its founding in 1901, the TMA has earned a global reputation for the quality of collection, for innovation, and its extensive education programs. Thanks to its benevolent founders, the TMA is free of charge. The museum is open Tuesday and Wednesday - 10 am to 4 pm, Thursday and Friday - 10 am to 9 pm, Saturday - 10 am to 5 pm, Sunday - noon to 5 pm.

Fallen Timbers Battlefield and Fort Miamis National Historic Site - Explore the National Historic Landmark, Fallen Timbers Battlefield and Fort Miamis, the site of the 1794 Battle of Fallen Timbers, which has been called the "last battle of the American Revolution." See the monuments to Maj. Gen. Anthony Wayne and the soldiers and American Indians who died at the final battle of the Northwest Indian Wars.

There are over 40 golf courses in the Toledo area; some are championship level. Within 5 miles of the park are two courses.
Spring Walleye Run - Join the hundreds of men and women who fish for walleye along the Maumee River. Very early each spring, hundreds of thousands of walleye find their way across Lake Erie to position themselves near the mouth of the Maumee River. They surge up the waterway once the water temperature, flow rate, and length of the day tell them it is time to move. Check out the Ohio Department of Wildlife website for more information.
