I don’t know what my wife said to upset them, maybe when I asked for a back in instead of a pull thru to save $5. The spot we were given was low and it was raining when we checked in . I was setting up in small streams running thru the site! They must know the rain runs like that on their property. There were dozens of site higher and more level without water running thru them but we didn’t on

Bassed on our occupancy for the night we gave you the best back in site available per your request. We did not punish you for asking for a back in site and the sites that were elevated were all pull thru sites.

Excellent reservation and check-in process— all online. Very clear instruction. KOA was very clean. Easily navigated by our 44 foot towing rig. Site C27 long, level and well appointed. Facilities all clean and well-kept.

Great WiFi, nice restrooms, campsites were uneven, needed road work. Friendly check in. Muddy area. Not much grass.

Texarkana KOA is a very convenient stay, that's for sure...right along I-30. We liked the dog park! The slight issues are; The noise from I-30, however our TV & (while sleeping) our noise machine were more powerful. The pandhandlers were out & about, which raises concerns about our safety. We give them $5 & they went away.

Campground suited our purpose which was a quick overnight stay. The site was long enough that we were able to stay hooked up. Traffic was noisy but expected due to easy access to the highway. We had no problems but management could have been friendlier and a bit more helpful.

Campground is old and in disrepair. In addition, it's right next to the interstate. On the positive side, the staff (only one woman) was very nice.

The campgrounds appear old and a bit run down. We were there for one night and the location suited our needs. The site is located near the highway and rail tracks. There was noise during the night.

Our stay was great. Bathroom and showers were exceptionally clean. Gentleman answering phone was extremely helpful.

Very close to highway and overpass did not feel secure homeless person wondering threw camp looking for hand outs .

Argumentative neighbors, lose dogs chased us while trying to go for a walk. Not a good experience.

Was great for over night. I did have an issue with the plug in. My cord didn't stay plugged in and making my camper do weird stuff. Went out and opened the cover and my plug fell out only issue I had.

We use this KOA as a nice, easy overnight stop while Traveling through. Gracious host, long pull thrus, FHU, and easy off and on I-30. Nice pool in season after a long driving day.

Check in wasn’t too smooth, office hours must be limited. We were left several phone messages during the day of our arrival telling us site numbers, but we were not given the code for the restroom building.

Conveniently located off highway, lots of road/highway noise is the trade off. Older gravel sites with no patio or area for fire pit. Staff not friendly.

Courteous and helpful personnel. Perfectly adequate sites for overnight stay. Laundry facilities came in handy. There was one problem that does not apply to facility, but Has to do with a fellow camper who allowed their dog to poop on our site and didn’t clean up after them. The dog pooped on our campsite and my husband stepped in it. The other Camper was in a 14. Just make u seare

Wonderful staff. Our 42’ motorhome with tow just fit the longest pull through, so if you’re 45’ & towing, you may not fit here. Pool was closed, possibly due to anticipated thunderstorms? Lots of trees prevented satellite dish use & no cable TV provided. But overall, a good overnight stay!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

The site this camper was in is 67 ft long and was the only available when reservation was made. We have 6 other sites over 70 ft in length allowing 45 ft rv's towing vehicles or trailers to fit.

We would stay there again. It's a good overnight stay. The highway is right there and it is fairly loud and you can feel and hear the vibration but, that said, we slept well. There is a railroad track behind but I love the sound of that and no horn is necessary in that area. I had the most wonderful long, hot, shower after a long, hot, difficult day of travel. That was a gem.

I would love to give them 5 Stars but I really can’t. We were placed on the front row for 2 separate nights. The spots were easy to get in and out of and hook ups were great. The park was very clean and the managers were very nice and helpful. However, the noise coming from traffic on the ease way and Interstate was very loud. There were times I couldn’t even hear my husband talking.

Love the grounds. Nice areas to walk. Showers and toilets are clean and easily accessible.

I went for the solar eclipse. The park has paved roads, level spots. I liked the trees, and felt like I was in a forest. I used the bathroom and the showers. Good water pressure and clean. I checked out the art gallery and bought a few things. Pool was closed because it's a little colder outside, but they are going to open it up may 1st they said. I liked this park. Managers were nice. They had three people there for the event.

Not only was the mattress in the cabin about 1,000x better than any of those slabs of solid rock they try to pass off as a damn mattress at most hotels, it came with sheets and pillows too! Our cabin was clean, the ladies at the front desk were nice, it was overall a great place to stay. The only downside is the location, it's right next to a feeder road so you get some road noise. It would be a bigger deal for tent campers, but trailers and those like us with cabins have a bit of insulation so it wasn't terrible.
