No toilet paper anywhere. We asked for a site closer to rest room and did not get one tho several were available. We asked for a burn pit and did not get one. Staff seemed nonchalant about our issues.

This campground was close to the highway and convenient when traveling, but I feel way overpriced for the site we used. Our site was down a hill that followed a drainage ditch and not really any room for a level tent space. Picnic table was in pieces (literally) and not able to use it. Parking was tight even with our two small cars. I can not say I would recommend- especially for the price...

Only place I have ever stayed that made you call, or wait, for a manager to check in with a late arrival. We ended up waiting for 20 minutes while he handled another call. No basic store or supplies. By a weird freeway entrance that is really loud. We will not be returning.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We have a basic store that we open when people request supplies. We are 5 minutes from 3 supermarkets and many other retail stores. Sorry for the delay on checking in, we try to call every reservation before arrival, and direct to site and provide info via telephone conversation, most appreciate it.

Bathrooms were dirty; shower drain clogged with feces that was backing up into the shower.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

One of the 4 shower stall was plugged up. We thank you for bringing it too our attention. The plumber that handles this was here a day later and unclogged the drain. Bathroom is clean and completely functional again.

We only stayed for one night. It was a nice campground. The office area was odd; not bad, just odd. Our dog enjoyed the dog park. The more permanent sites were in a separate area from where we stayed. I liked that.

Nice looking place with the pines. Everything is functional and well maintained but the train noise and highway noise (trucks) are overwhelming. I wouldn't recommend it or likely go back to it BUT it's a good experience if you leave your A/C units on to drown out the noise. We were up at 4 AM (not by choice) and out early.

Stayed in a pull through with 50 Amp service. Site surfaces are a little rough and have some slope front to back. Nice bathrooms and showers. Just off the interstate so there is some noise. Nice pool but wasn't open yet. Easy check in. Stayed two nights. Most others were just overnight. Would stay here again if passing through.

Facility is older and has a real mix of rv’s, some new and most old, as well as mobile homes, all old and some uninhabited. Lot of FT RV’ers The area we were parked in was clean and spacious. Two barking dogs behind us that appeared unleashed but controlled. Jerry, the manager, was nice. When we asked about a local restaurant, he told us Ironwood Grill, and it was great. It was our first time camping! Yall made it very easy even though we came in after hours. We got a call telling us what to do when we got there. The bathhouse was clean. Just a great experience for a non experienced camper!! Great hospitality! Thank you!

Was a nice place to stay overnight. Pull-thru spot was long enough didn't have to unhook and very level. Only complaint was the large electrical box right next to our space that cause us to pull further into the space in order to get our slide open. Other spaces didn't have this so there would not be an issue.

I don’t know what my wife said to upset them, maybe when I asked for a back in instead of a pull thru to save $5. The spot we were given was low and it was raining when we checked in . I was setting up in small streams running thru the site! They must know the rain runs like that on their property. There were dozens of site higher and more level without water running thru them but we didn’t on

Bassed on our occupancy for the night we gave you the best back in site available per your request. We did not punish you for asking for a back in site and the sites that were elevated were all pull thru sites.

Excellent reservation and check-in process— all online. Very clear instruction. KOA was very clean. Easily navigated by our 44 foot towing rig. Site C27 long, level and well appointed. Facilities all clean and well-kept.

Texarkana KOA is a very convenient stay, that's for sure...right along I-30. We liked the dog park! The slight issues are; The noise from I-30, however our TV & (while sleeping) our noise machine were more powerful. The pandhandlers were out & about, which raises concerns about our safety. We give them $5 & they went away.

Campground suited our purpose which was a quick overnight stay. The site was long enough that we were able to stay hooked up. Traffic was noisy but expected due to easy access to the highway. We had no problems but management could have been friendlier and a bit more helpful.

Campground is old and in disrepair. In addition, it's right next to the interstate. On the positive side, the staff (only one woman) was very nice.

I specifically choose KOA whenever possible because i usually know what to count on. This location is a little old and could use some spiffing up, but I would probably stay again if it fit the time and place requirements as it did this time.

Not only was the mattress in the cabin about 1,000x better than any of those slabs of solid rock they try to pass off as a damn mattress at most hotels, it came with sheets and pillows too! Our cabin was clean, the ladies at the front desk were nice, it was overall a great place to stay. The only downside is the location, it's right next to a feeder road so you get some road noise. It would be a bigger deal for tent campers, but trailers and those like us with cabins have a bit of insulation so it wasn't terrible.
