The campground is still being fixed up from the past hurricanes making The stay not quite as pleasurable as previous stays there is lots of work, still being done to clean up the campground. Hopefully, they will replace the gravel and stones to decrease the amount of dust and dirt.

Is it a campground or a construction site? I realize there was major damage from storms, but a discount or some consideration from the construction crews should be given. Also, going to and from the campground is like dodgeball with the industrial area. Way too expensive for what it is

The staff was very courteous and friendly. The construction ruined our experience. Trucks were driving by throughout the day and night. I wish I had been notified of the construction before we set up.

Although I know that the campground was not 100 percent due to the storm , the associates were very friendly and helpful . Princess Kate was awesome

Staff was great!! Sites are still pretty rough from the hurricane damage. Lots of work going on to restore hurricane damage. Sites are tight and small.

VERY RUDE STAFF!! Our local home in Madeira Beach flooded due to Hurricane Helen and this KOA wanted to OVERCHARGED us for a monthly fee of $2500.00 PLUS ELeCTRICITY! WOW after a lot of complaining they finally changed to to $1500 plus electricity still WAY OVER PRiced KOA you should be ashamed that you were taking ADVANTAGE of people in your LOCAL community after the Hurricane!

This was our second time at this KOA. Last year it was great!! This year we really thought it was over-priced. With all the hurricane cleanup we feel that a discount should of been given. There were 7 days that the water was shut off and no cable TV as advertised. Then we were told if we booked for next year that we would get 10% off. The office refused us this offer as we are KOA members.

Unfortunately most of the options for the kids were closed, I wish that was something disclosed in purchasing the site for the weekend, unfortunately a lot of damage from the storms . We were super excited about hanging out for the weekend but the only thing the kids could do was the pool and hot tub, kayaks weren't available, playground not avaliable, indoor activities not available.

Site 600 where we stayed was too close to site 601, which had a different RV each night we were there. Had to retract awning so it wouldn't get clipped. Electrical crew was boring around our site the last day and created a lot of loose wet soil. Very muddy. Water was off and on throughout stay due to construction. Beautiful scenery but needed better scheduling for work crews.

I never been so let down with koa in these last 2 months i think they are price gouging taking advantage of of locals that lost everything in the past 2 hurricanes. When i first arrived after the hurricane i asked them to renew my rewards due to losing our home to the hurricane and knowing we would be there awhile they never did renew my rewards.It cost me nealy 7000 PRICE GOUGING ! beware

This KOA is the best, they are going thru fixing everything after the two big storms and frankly their employees are just great, knowledgeable, and even thru all these events and the contractors and etc, they were polite eager to help. We have been there many times and are always extremely pleased with this KOA

Nice KOA right on the water of Long Bayou. The back in sites along the water are amazing. Some of the pull thru sites are a little tight especially for a large 5th wheel. The staff are great at helping you get in and out. Super friendly! We were there about 6 weeks post hurricanes Helene and Milton, so lots of clean up still happening but wasn't intrusive. Amazing ADA shower and cute dog park

everything was wonderful. office staff was very helpful. when leaving we had an issue at the dump station. we had been on a water//electric site. The dump station was locked and the man who came to unlock it gave us the 3rd degree and acted like he was not going to let us dump. Took us 10 minutes to convince him that we were allowed to dump since we did not have sewer on our site. He was very rude

Watwr supply constantly interrupted. Old lines need repairing. Electricity and cable not dependable.club house closed. Many activities advertised in your kOA website not offered due to hurricanes and personnel limitations Still trying to get over the 2 hurricanes. hurricanes. Feel sorry for the management.. such a difficult task after major storms

We evacuated after two hurricanes and we had to buy a travel trailer. The staff were all very friendly and helped make our stay better.

Disappointing. I called to ask about campground conditions. Nothing was said except the Wi-Fi was down. Unfortunately, the campground was in total disarray, lots of construction, no water for 1- day, trucks coming and going at all hours. Had I known about the true condition of the campground, I would not have stayed, as I paid top dollar for a campsite that didn’t warrant the price.

Taking into consideration all the park had been through. The park was in very good condition. I will not get into the negatives as they were due to the hurricanes that destroyed the area. The front desk persons were great and very friendly. We did not like the site we were in given the size of our fifth wheel. It was not easy to get into or out of. We will return to this park.

Storm damage was minimal but they have rented out 1/2 to 2/3 of the park out to hurricane debris clean up contractors and their employees. There were multiple nights of loud party drinking and loud music, well past quiet time. Their camp sites were unkept and full of junk. The management was very lax in enforcing their rules. Could have been a nice place.

Best campground I have stayed out. Clean shower - clean everything. The office personnel we always friendly and accommodating. We left one day early due to Hurricane Helena and we got a full refund for that day. Pool was great. extra points for Sept was also great. Semper Fi

My family and I had a great stay. The grounds were very well up kept and the facilities were very clean. It was nice to see the crew constantly moving about making sure the areas were ready for the next guests and up keeping the property. The staff is very friendly and care about the service they provide. We loved being able to talk with everyone coming and going and loved fishing in the bayou.

Perfect site for a 45 foot 5th wheel except for the back in angle was a little tight with a Jeep parked next to a permanent RV. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Adult only spa area was relaxing during the evening. This KOA is par with KOA high standards.

The grounds & facilities are clean and well-maintained, friendly service by everyone we encountered. The only disappointment was that we paid to have a site on the water, but we couldn't see it because of the overgrown shrubbery/bushes. If I had known we wouldn't be able to see the water at all, I wouldn't have paid for that site type. Yet, overall 5 stars!

Very well kept campground and friendly, helpful staff! We always thoroughly enjoy this KOA with its access to the Pinellas bike trail and close proximity to the beach and great area restaurants. It’s our favorite place to camp!
