The campground is average. Most of the staff are friendly and helpful. Some staff not so good. I completely understand that they are still recovering and rebuilding from the hurricane. However, communication about our reservation was pitiful. We were never told ahead of time that the site we reserved a year ago was not going to be available. They didn't even tell us when we checked in.

I understand there was a hurricane. I understand you have had to move a lot of people around. But if you pay extra to lock in a site, why was our site given away by corporate!! If you had a waterfront site that wasn't up and running, why weren't me moved to another waterfront site!!? I asked to be moved and she said there were no more sites available. The site we were given was next to an unsightly site that had trash on the ground and was unkept. The park was lovely and very friendly. It was expensive, what we paid for 3 nights there was over what we paid for a week in Bonita Springs. When we checked out, I politely told the staff in the office this and said someone needed to help that site clean up and I was told they would tell the manager.

Wonderful stay. Only exception was that we weren’t notified that the site we selected last year was unavailable due to a storm. We only learned about it when calling to confirm two weeks prior.

Our stay was peaceful, but the space we had left was disappointing. Our space had construction material leftovers and there was no grass, the floor was all dirt which made it difficult for us to keep it clean and keep the motorhome clean.

Big disappointment. I expected to "Back in your rig along the beautiful bayou at this Full Hookup RV sites with KOA Patio. The site features a spacious hard surfaced patio, upgraded furniture and a fire pit. Get ready to sit back, relax, and enjoy the view!" I had no patio just dirt a few random pavers & No view. Crap furniture & a rusted out fire pit. Staff in the front office A+ Campground D-.

We have never stayed at a KOA and will DEFINITELY be back. It’s a little expensive but the staff and quality of amenities was more than anyone could ask for…. We enjoyed the stay.

Enjoyed kayaking. Nicely maintained park with extremely courteous and helpful staff. Only downside was that the roadways were very narrow for a big rig.

Our 1st site was uneven and would not work for us. The staff hustled.to get us into a larger, better fit site and this was very helpful.

I’ve stayed at multiple KOA’s across the US and this is one of the best. The staff was friendly. The facilities were clean. The showers were very nice. It’s a little cramped, but that’s what to expect when you’re in Florida. I highly recommend this KOA.

Put in a site that was nowhere close to level. The blacktop was broken with big ruts. We tried four different positions with our levelers and then with blocks, but no success. We have an absorption refrigerator that needs level ground to work. We were all other sites were unavailable but then they said one became available. We moved, yet over a dozen were open and we were not offered them up front

The sites for transients are not leveled. We broke 5 boards before we could level into our site. We are not newbies. Lots of RVs leveled with wheels up in the air. Mailroom is a mess, so many boxes, self search- couldn’t order anything during my stay here. Gym is not really a gym. Brook was great, thank goodness for her help � and there is a great bike path nearby.

We had a nice waterfront site. Renovated sites have new fixtures - very good! Sites are tight but that's the norm here. Note the website says cable TV, but there is none, and it will not be reinstalled per management. WiFi is okay to good. Nice staff.

Great place - Location is the best - Beach, John’s Pass, Pass a Grill. The campground is clean and has lots to offer. The front desk girls are very helpful and friendly.

great people in the office - Brooklyn and Sandy were very informative and fun to work with. Brooklyn needs an embroidered yellow KOA shirt like Sandy - I had a fun time in the surrounding area and my visits to the office were always fun

I was disappointed this year with our stay. This is our 3rd year staying with you. We picked our site prior to leaving in January 2024. Our site was unavailable due to the hurricane, which was fine but we were placed in a new site 2 rows from the back in a dirt sand site, no patio, narrow. I asked for a different site and got placed in a site, no sewer. Another same day couple got a sewer site.

Very nice campground and staff. The showers had plenty of hooks and a bench. Laundry room was clean and very reasonably priced. Wish the sites were a bit larger, felt like we were touching the RVs on either side of us.

It was my first campground experience and it couldn’t have went better! I really appreciated the friendly host at the front desk who took time to explain how it all works in such a cheerful manner. I will definitely return!

Stay was nice. Disappointed in the si called fitness center. Only thing working was bike and equipment was jammed in small space and on top of eachother.

We felt the site we got was not commensurate to the price we paid. Small cracked concrete pad very close to neighbors. Both gentlemen I talked to at the desk were friendly & helpful but no one else was seemed happy to be there. We’ve stayed at and enjoyed many KOA’s all over but would definitely not feel the need to return to this one.

The campsites were very tight and in ill repair. Concrete pad was cracked very badly making it very unsafe to walk over especially as we are older and unsteady to start with. There was no where for folks to park their cars so cars parked every which way making road access difficult. We would probably look for different accommodations should we return to Tampa.

We had a 2 night there with a sewer. We got there and there was no sewer?? My husband went up to the office and then they put us in a site with a sewer that we had to pay $30 more for?? And they were vary snarky to him. We have stayed here at this KOA alot for we come down to St Pete, about once a month. We were crammed in like sardines!! They added alot of new site from the last time we there.

Been here before and it is a great place to stay Nice pool and hot tub. Helpful staff always available if needed. Sue from Ohio was my fave. So sweet and delightful. Great place if you have little kids. So many fun things to do.

Great place- very nice and well maintained. If u need anything they act very quickly and all staff very friendly and helpful. Bern coming here for years. Great fishing dock too! Kayaks pool and jacuzzi very nice.
