Was notified after we made reservations that the pool would not be available due to some resurfacing. Of course, no adjustment to our rates were given. Their comment was we are hurting because people are canceling. Well, we are hurting too because we didn’t get what we paid for. Also, WIFI still doesn’t work after 8 years of staying here. No improvements to site pads either.

We like staying here, it is quiet and close to family members. Definitely prefer the Bayou sites.

Our site was fine, but there is a drainage problem. It rained just about every day and the water took about half a day to drain. Our site wasn’t flooded, but some were. Also, the pool was being repaired so no access to the pool. Make sure you bring your mosquito repellent for the evening around the camp.

This campground is well maintained and a beautiful campground. Staff is very helpful and our first night there we got lost and Mark led us to our campsite. He is a good example of how great the staff is here.

Pool was closed due to delays from the construction company, and it was obvious there was a huge investment into the campground going on. The staff was great and easy to find. The grounds were well maintained and secure too. Very nice to see someone at the entrance watching who comes in even at midnight!

I’ve stayed here once before by the Bayou. That area has pavers, rocks to park in and picnic tables with nice chairs and grills. Thats not what I got this trip. I parked on busted up asphalt, with over grown oak trees, bulging roots, dirty picnic table and dirt and mud all around. In addition, the neighbors in any direction had personal belongings laying all around their campsites.

The site was very nice, But that staff was not good! We had a new camper move in next to us that like to play the music loud, a young girl and older gentleman came out and said “it was fine”even though I could hear it in my motorhome with 3 ACs running! We were willing to overlook the fact that we could smell pot when we went outside. I hope this isn’t the future future of camping!

The park has someone at the gate almost all night. The park is in a good area and is close to the Bach, good restaurants and sopping. The people there are very nice.

Very disappointed no pool, silt fence stopping you from doing any water activity. No discounts I will never go back.

Pool was closed. We were offered refund but were not told that construction going on would also not allow us to put our kayaks into water behind our “premium upgraded lot!!!”

Campground was well maintained & staff was exceptional, however it took turning on 4 showers & all the faucets for 5 min. to get hot water to the bathhouse at our end of the park. Hated to waste the water.

The staff were so welcoming and friendly, the site was spotlessly clean (as were the onsite bathrooms), and the waterside views were wonderful! Loved it!

There was a very foul odor during the stay, roads drain poorly, people’s kids had no place to play except in narrow roads, construction in multiple areas. Hopefully next year will be better. We will come again. However, staff were great, bathrooms clean.

Staff are great atmosphere is great. This KOA under construction in a lot of areas. Swimming pool was not available and a lot of new sites under construction. This is why I didn't give a better rating. Our site was extremely well maintained and they have completed upgrades to the site it was beautiful. All in all we had a nice time.

We thoroughly enjoyed the park. The office people were very very friendly. The park is also pet friendly was which was very very nice. I would recommend this place. The time we visited the pool was being repaired. My grandkids were disappointed, but they got to play miniature golf. We definitely will go there again.

Fabulous staff and service!!! Everyone was so friendly from check in, trash pickup, to check out. Highly recommend staying at this great location, easy access to all the beaches.

Was a great place to stay as far as activities and view. However, we were very disappointed in the clearness of the cable hook up. Also, not having the pool was a bit unsettlin. Our site (#519) was not level at all and not in the best shape.

We had a great stay but we were surprised to find out it was in the sun. I thought I had requested a shade. The pool not being opened also was very disappointing. I would never comeback if it wasn't opened. I wouldn't recommend it until the pools are opened.

The campground is currently under reconstruction and seems a bit in disarray. However the staff was great. I had some difficulty with my camper and the two guys who helped me were terrific. I could not have resolved the issue without them. The staff went the extra mile for me. I come to this campground every year and will continue to do so. Once the rennovations are completed and the pool is open

We did a weekend getaway and although the pool was out of service, the staff were top notch! They were very friendly and helpful to us. They even escorted our Uber Eats driver to our site when she became lost. These folks are the best!

We stayed a week and never once saw a work being done on the pool. It was also inconvenient that the camp store closes at 7pm. Without the pool then you are having to use the other activities during the heat of the day. For it being the price it was we felt all the park truly offered was a place to sleep. I question if this park is in financial trouble. A lot of construction sites, little work.

Great staff, very friendly and helpful to this RV Newbie! Although the pool was under construction the Hot Tub was not and was AMAZING! Thos place is a must stay, only minutes from the beach and great rates.

We stayed a total of 8 nights in May 4 nights separated by a week between stays. The park is in shambles because it's supposed to be going through a major renovation and upgrade, hopefully I'm guessing before the winter season. At no time during the 8 night stay did I see any work being done! If corporate is in charge of the project they are doing a miserable job of managing it. Good luck!

Since it was under construction, it is hard to rate the campground. It would have been nice to have the pool open and from what I have heard, it's been closed for some time. I like the area and there is a lot to do.

Excellent campground. On the water and the Pinellas Trail bike path, you can row or ride right out of the campground. RV Sites are roomy, we were in a back-in on the water. Our RV is a 45-foot toy hauler and we were able to lower the ramp door and use as a patio. The site had a hard patio with table and chairs and a fire pit on site. Staff is super freindly and helpful. Wi-Fi is great, was able to stream with our fire stick. Beautiful, clean, I will be back soon.

We had such a nice stay at KOA Madeira Beach. Beautiful property, so clean and the pool is awesome! Also Mikey and Roberta were so helpful. I ran out of eggs and needed one for a recipe. The store was out of them and Mikey went and got one personally for me. I was so happy! I was able to finish my recipe for dinner and I was so impressed with the kindness and level of service. 5 star ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ all the way!
