Nice park and pool, off the beaten path with an awesome Cuban restaurant near the entrance, so good! Bring the bug spray. Only complaint (and it's not the KOA's fault) was we were right under the high tension wires, constant "buzzing." Not sure that was mentioned anywhere but I wish it would have been, I would have chosen one of the nicer, newer spots on the water that were available at the time.

Overall happy with the location and resort. It was quiet and plenty of things to do. Staff was awesome. The cabin was OK. We found one live cockroach on the bathroom floor and the floor in the kitchen was not super clean upon arrival but everything else seemed clean. We would stay again.

Staff was wonderful. Wish my site was more shady because it was so hot outside. The camping for a cause event was awesome.

Campground is clean and huge people are friendly we had a great stay. One issue would be pool to small for campground size in my opinion. Great having bike/walking trail at entrance to the camp. Plenty of shopping within minutes of campgrounds

We always enjoy our stay at the k o a.This was my thirty second year of coming to this exact spot and we hope to continue it for many more years.The place is always clean, always has friendly staff.And we just have a wonderful memory making time

Over all great stay only issue was around the pool it was koa cancer weekend and fairly crowed people were drinking in the pool and I saw some drinks getting in to pool also no smoking in pool area or vaping should be enforced but still a good time

The staff is so welcoming and friendly. The facilities are consistently clean and well maintained. Great location. We’ve been here 4 times in less than a year and still can’t wait to come back! Love the pool and entertainment. This is a hidden gem!!!!

Had a wonderful time at your KOA campground. I took my Son and Sister. The staff was great, very friendly. We enjoyed the amenities, loved the pool!!!! We were also able to bring our 2 pets which was very convenient. There was a wasp nest under the porch swing (rustic cabin) we advised the staff who promptly came and took care of the issue. We absolutely love KOA and will definitely be back!!!!!!

We had a very comfortable very quiet stay. Staff is always helpful and friendly. Facilities are kept clean. Hookups all worked properly with good water pressure and no interruptions in power. Great location close to everything you would need including the beach.

Very nice spot on the back bay. Enjoyed our stay. Great pool and hot tub located right on the Pinellas bike trail. Improvements could be not allowing non registered folks into park and use of boat launch. No one monitored the entrance, people come in at will. Pricing was overboard expensive.

Stayed for 5 days. Was looking for a centralized area. This KOA fit the bill. We stayed in a pull thru which was large enough for our auto transport, so we didn't have to drop the trailer. Plenty of amenities on site, great staff. Everyone was happy to help. Also knowledgeable on site ride share (Uber)

The problem I had is that it is not very well maintained. The asphalt on all the sites and cabin sites was in terrible condition including the driving lanes. Also, a lot of the sites had no grass. Which makes it hard to keep your camper clean. Especially when you have dogs. There was just dirt and puddles everywhere after it rained. I did find all the staff to be very friendly.

The campground was very clean and well taken care of and the staff were very friendly. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because all the lake sites are so covered in mangroves you cant really appreciate the view of the lake and you can forget about fishing at your site. Another reason is the poor wi-Fi service. Other than that, all was OK will I stay there again probably not.

My stay was very relaxing. I loved the DW-40 spot along the bayou, absolutely beautiful. Everyone was very nice and friendly, staff and other guests. The services connections, laundry, were all excellent. I loved that it borders the Pinellas Trail. I will certainly book again in the future.

We stayed two nights. There is a lot to do in the area. Good restaurants and scenic places. The campground is top notch.

Great place and wonderful staff I booked a year in advance with site fee and was moved. The worst thing is that moved me a month later and in a years time no one bothered to contact me suprise when I got there not much choice to 1500 miles from home been staying here 9 years and this never happened not happy about this what good is the site fee

We had a great girls weekend in one of your deluxe cabins. Only 2 issues- we didn’t have hot water (which took a while to get fixed). Also, the kitchen supplies were scarce- could have used a mixing bowl for making pancakes, mixing eggs etc. Otherwise it was great!

Thus was our 9th year staying at this KOA and it is always a wonderful stay. The staff us great and helpful, Laurie, Susie, Donald, Bob O, Sue, Brooklyn, Mike and a few others, I am sorry I don't remember all the names. But excellent service, very clean facilities and overall kind and happy people always pleasing their guest and making sure everyone is having a wonderful time. See you in November

Yet another enjoyable stay at Madeira Beach KOA - one of our favorites and the only place we want to stay when in Tampa. Love the location, environment, friendly staff, heated pool, and comfortable sites.

Our tent camp on the lake shore was beautiful. The table with umbrellas was a life saver. Restrooms fairly close by and very clean. Lots of games and activities. The only designated fishing area (the boat ramp). We didn't see a fish cleaning station.

3rd time at this KOA. This was a short stop, got in late, but attendant was looking for me and helped me get into the site - just another example of above and beyond. This is by far the best KOA we’ve stayed at. Really well run, great location right off the Pinellas Trail, beautiful water views and the most friendly staff that sets a tone that makes for a great experience.

Beautiful property with great views! Great people and accommodations. The deluxe cabin is AMAZING! Don't forget your bug spray though... The store has great options, including bug spray.

My hubby and I plus our Giant Schnauzer stayed there with our Travel Trailer on a nice full hook up spot, equipped with a small old bby pit, a nice big round table with nice chairs. Our daughter, her husband and their 3 sons plus Mini Schnauzer stayed in a 2 room cabin with 2 bunk beds and a full sized bed and a mini fridge with small freezer space, and a tv; patio with a hanging swing seat but no kitchen, no bathroom and no table with chairs or anything to sit on for a meal or game. We were near together, also near to one of their wonderful equipped and clean bath houses. The dog park is tiny and has no water source for the dogs. The shop is nice but pricey and gym is small but ok. The pool is heated and that's awful when it's 100F degrees outside,
