I specifically asked to be in a site next to my sister and her family but that didn't happen. All the roads inside the park were exceptionally rough. Our site was probably one of the worst ones in the park. The entire site was dirt and broken concrete. It was difficult to take our dogs out & had to carry them to the dog park or the few places of grass they had. Would look for a different place

Stayed 1 week. Here to attend graduation. Bugs were bad. Seemed to be less shade. We are here to see family so we don’t use pool, mini golf etc. we have stayed many times in last 20 yrs

We arrived near our check-in time, our site we were assigned was very tight against a cabin. I would expected that as a late arrival. Our platform & picnic table were against cabin. Hot tub needs resurfaced. Mgmt didn't recognize that. Viewing from road, is appears it had sand on the bottom. Pool area was nice. We've stayed at many KOAs found mgmt was unobservant or clueless to issues.

Rather nice koa kind of questionable when you drive through the commercial road getting to it. Could have put us in one of nicer empty sites

Our site had not been maintained well. Gravel camping pad had lots of broken asphalt chunks ina significant section that you always were driving across. Even though it was a standard site, it still needs to be maintained. A bit disappointing. But rest of the park was very nice. �����‍���

Campground is very well taken care of. Staff is great. Close to Beach, shopping and John's Pass. Highly recommend this Campground.

This KOA is great. On the water and on the Pinellas Trail bike path. Just row or ride right out of the campground. The staff are friendly and helpful, they really make you feel at home. The sites are roomy, we were in a back-in on the bayou, it had a table and chairs as well as a fire pit on site. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we will be back.

Loved this place, it wasn’t our first time. the pool is amazing. But our cabin was so hot we ended up leaving around 12am because we couldn’t get comfortable to sleep so we went home instead. Sucks we didn’t get to enjoy the entire stay.

Campsite was in direct sunlight. No shade. Ninety degrees outside. Stayed two hrs and left. Expensive, typical commercial campground with no privacy and sites very close together. No thanks

Nice place. Only regret was that we didn't ask for another site. Plenty flat sites were available. 521 was very unlevel front to back and side to side. 42' 3 axle 5th wheel. All three tires were off the ground and front jacks up all the way. Had to use all the blocks I had under the wheels and front jacks to safety level. Next time we will ask to be moved to a better site.

The place is well kept and so many upgrades since the area was hit by hurricanes a year ago. I couldn't believe how many employees were running around taking care of everything, great location as well.

It was quiet and pleasant. I really enjoyed how clean the park, pool, restrooms and showers were and how safe I felt this KOA campground. All KOA Personnel were polite and always staying busy keeping the camp running smoothly. I’ll be back and I have a referral to a friend who promptly rented a cabin for July!

The koa in st pete was very well kept, the koa employees were all fabulous. The only problem we had was the A/C unit in our cabin unit did not work properly and would not blow any cold air. We had to switch cabins late night after unpacking. Solution: make sure the A/C units work in your cabins prior to any arrivals, especially with our Florida weather. Respectfully. Shawn.

We absolutely LOVE this KOA! We have spent Jan/Feb here for the last 3 years…ZERO complaints. Lori & staff are very informative/accommodating. Michelle heads the activities so if you’re ever bored, it’s 100% your fault. We also look forward to spending time with folks who are there before/after we are, who have been coming for much longer. The pool, bathhouse and grounds are well kept.

Beautiful campground, large sites, 2 nice swimming pools and spa. We loved the pool side entertainment with the DJ's and all the fun activities this KOA provided, the service by Todd was amazing. They truly go above and beyond to make you feel at home and you can tell the staff take pride in their park.

We had a great time! We love the new waterfront sites too. Bathrooms/showers were always clean. Pool was great and well maintained! Lots to see and do while there! We will be back!

First time we stayed here was the reason we returned for the second time. Two COMPLETELY different Experiences. First time was platinum. We were so happy to get to return. It was just beautiful. Wonderful great people. Upon our return it started out fabulous and ended Miserably and unfortunately uncomfortable. Sadly we will not be staying again at this location. Sent email with full details

Harold maintains the nicest pool and pool deck area of ANY KOA we’ve been to and we’ve stayed at well over 30! Staff were wonderful. Cabins looked awesome. Unfortunately, our actual campsite was ripped up with loose and broken asphalt and I had to shovel it away to avoid a tripping hazard. Seemed an easy fix before we showed up.

Super clean and well maintained campground. Great staff. The pool was spotless and perfect. Kayak launch was perfect right there at the campground into the Long Bayou. The Pinellas Trail was directly behind our site, and still very private with a fence. We had a large patio site with chairs, table, glider and fire pit with BBQ grill on top. We go here every year. We will be back again.

Never in my life at a KOA have I been charged $50 pet deposit! This place is a money grab. I paid $100 for the room. Left out at 8am, was with my dogs the entire time and they have stayed in many KOA cabins! I stayed at 2 other KOA’s on this trip and didn’t pay anything so it’s the greedy owners of this KOA. There should be a standard fee for pets from all KOA’s or charge a refundable depo

Loved that the Pinellas bike trail passed right in front. Convenient to beaches , shopping and restaurants. Nice, helpful staff.

Stayed 3 nights (post-snowbird discount) which was a great time and great off-season promo idea. Ultra clean, super nice people (all employees), especially Lori and Sherri. Beautifully maintained park with all amenities and recovering rapidly from 2024 hurricanes. Conveniently located near beaches, on inland waterway. We were in site 633 with shade and view of the bayou.

Mikey at the Madeira Beach KOA is an absolute gem! From the moment we arrived, he went above and beyond to make our stay incredible. His friendly demeanor and extensive knowledge of the area made us feel right at home. Mikey gave us great tips on local spots to check out and was always quick to assist with anything we needed.
