Campground Reviews

Nice size rv parking area, clean, very nice owners and associates, bathrooms updated and spotless, utility tub available for guests, plenty of garbage bins, fenced in dog park and other amenities we did not use. Very close to East Glacier and Many Glacier entrances. Yes a little pricey, but it did not disappoint.

We booked early & paid the quoted price. When we arrived we were told we owed more because your taxes went up. How can that be legal, what a scam. I don’t care if your taxes went up that is your problem. We in good faith booked & paid, you corrupted that trust. We will not be back . Also we had to have a step fixed & the first nite we had no hot water after one shower.

Late September was cool so we didn’t use the outdoor amenities. Very pretty park, so close and convenient to the entrance of Glacier Natl. Park. Staff was friendly and helpful, there was a snafu with my vehicle rental but the owners made it right quickly and we were all set for our adventures. I would definitely recommend, and we would definitely stay again!

This is a very large park with abundant amenities and friendly, helpful staff. The location is awesome and provided the perfect launching point for our adventures in East Glacier. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

place was really clean. staff knowledgeable and courteous. My third time there. (however the rooms and shower stall all had "dust bunnies" backs of door etc need to be attended too -occaisionally

There was plenty of activities to do while at the campground! I was extremely surprised by how well they maintained the campground.

KOA St Mary is located ideally for exploring the Eastern side of Glacier National Park. Fantastic staff, great sites and amenities. We enjoyed a camping cabin and felt comfortable and secure. Our only fairly minor issue was that the shower spaces near the cabins smelled very musty and weren't super clean, but the showers further away at the office building were excellent. Coffee bar is amazing!

Great location to Glacier National Park. Great level sites. Well stocked store. Nice hot tub and pool area. Couldn't ask for more.

Beautiful campground, well maintained. Clean bathrooms, but could use a few more of them scattered throughout the campground so I wouldn't have to walk so far. Otherwise, everything was lovely.

I love staying at Koa for my outdoor adventures. I stayed in one of the Koa cabins. It had a small, old space heater that kept the cabin a comfortable temperature at night. They kept their bathrooms moderately clean. I had no gross moments in the shower due to cleanliness. Check in was easy and they have an outdoor box for your keys if you want to check out early before the office opens.

It used to be excellent, but desperately needs a refresher. Look at West Glacier KOA for inspiration

Great staff and location

We stayed in a deluxe cabin and it was awesome! The amenities were a nice surprise.. full size coffee pot was a bonus! Very clean and bathroom was huge! We enjoyed the hot tub area almost every night! Campground was quiet at night. And laundry room/ waiting area was a nice bonus. The staff were all very helpful and friendly! This was our first KOA experience and we will definitely use them again!

Stay was good, Dog Kennel service was great and a nice option, I feel like the site could use some updating and cleaning - especially the laundry room.

Good place. Clean facilities. Just too expensive for a cabin with no water or bathroom. But I assume that is what you need to charge to stay in business. Expense is the only reason I would not recommend it

The view is beautiful.

Nice place in great location. Staff very friendly. A little cramped and could benefit from planting shrubs between sites. Store was very nice and reasonably priced.

Stayed at St Mary KOA because it is so close to many hiking trails! Very clean facilities, hot tub was open and staff was super friendly! Thank you!

Enjoyed our stay and the mostly working hot tub (none of us guests could figure out how to turn on the jets even thought there was a button). The tent pads were nice and stakes went in easily. Nice protected area. I think the price was quite high. $55 for a basic tent site. Plus $11 for taxes and fees (20%)? Was it for tribal use? thanks.

All in all the stay was good. Constructive criticism would be, mattress was poor, many flys in the cabin (10-15) which we swatted. Screen was in need of repair. Bathroom sink was clogged, we used the plunger to open up. Cleaning crew should have seen the flys and the drain clog. The staff was excellent and friendly. Thank you.

Holy cow!!! Great campground but even better people!! We had no hot water because our valve was stuck. And they helped us get it unstuck. Even the ice cream person was terrific!! Clean. Easy.. quiet.. beautiful spot!

2 night stay. Love how close you are to the park and that it is nice and quiet!!

Very nice. New bathrooms and showers.

This is our first KOA stay. Impressed with the staff and the available amenities. $100/night is a spurge for us and unfortunately we would not be able to afford multiple trips or week long trips at this price. KOA is a special occasion only kinda stay

Great setting, VERY friendly and professional staff. Campsites for camper vans were genereously spaced, quiet, and peaceful. Only suggestion for improvement is to refrain from cleaning the bathrooms a half hour before checkout; otherwise last-minute guests like me (mea culpa!) lose the opportunity to clean up a bit before hitting the road.

Enjoyed our stay. Impressed by the lead in to our site after a long day's drive. Used the hot tub, very nice and clean showers. Visited the ice cream counter several times and appreciated the daily detailed forecast that was printed and posted. 5G internet worked well for us. Recommend Two Sisters cafe, north on RT 89 for dinner.

Stayed at this campground previously and had a great campsite. But this time the cabin was at the edge of the grounds and right behind the camps dumpsters. The area around all of these cabins was overgrown, untrimmed and in general, appeared to be neglected. The screen on the front door was ripped and coming off. Garbage from a previous camper around fire pit.

Exactly as I thought it would be. It was very convenient to glacier NP.

Excellent campground, good wifi, everything is clean and works, only thing missing is a place to wash your car or truck, and no car wash within maybe 35 miles, maybe more! A number of campgrounds have washing stations that allow you to wash for a nominal fee, maybe $5. And this is a dusty area with more than a few dirt roads! Otherwise, close to perfect!

Amazing campground with an incredible view. Laundry facility (a little expensive, but convenient), an incredibly-stocked camp store, plus all the amenities of a really nice KOA. We have stayed at a lot of KOA's— some subpar— but this one is a top 3 for us.

One of the nicest KOA campgrounds you'll find. The staff is very friendly, great laundry machines, and make sure to visit the ice cream bar. The location means you'll have beautiful sunrises and sunsets over the mountains. You're also 5 to 10 minutes from the eastern Glacier National Park entrances and visitor's center. If you're staying on the eastern side of Glacier, you can do no better!

My first stay at a KoA, their facilities were clean, and the staff was very friendly. I would recommend this over staying in Glacier personally.
