Glacier park offers a wide variety of ranger-led programs from easy walk & talks, to all-day hikes and boat tours. The ranger-led activities provide a safe and easy way to explore the park with knowledgeable guides.
The monthly schedules are made available 2 weeks before each month, and run from mid-June to the end of September.
Runners will love this scenic and challenging half marathon along the southeastern edge of the park!
This year the Glacier Half Marathon will take place on June 16th, on the Looking Glass Road (Hwy 49) with the finish line in East Glacier Village.

The Blackfeet Tribe hosts The North American Indian Days and PowWow.
This 4 day event draws thousands of Native Americans for dancing, drumming and singing competitions.
Indian Days typically takes place on the first weekend after The Fourth of July, in downtown Browning.
Stop in for a unique cultural and historical event. Enjoy some mouth-watering local Indian tacos, admire the beautiful authentic dance costumes, you are sure to have a good time. This is a great experience for guests of all ages and backgrounds.
Take advantage of Glacier's extraordinarily dark night skies and join rangers with the Big Sky Astronomy Club to gaze through their large telescopes!
Admission is by ticket only. Tickets are free (one per vehicle) at the St. Mary or Apgar Visitor centers, starting the day before each star party.
