Seward is filled with award-winning restaurants, shopping and activities for all ages. We are the home of the Alaska SeaLife Center and Kenai Fjords National Park which includes Exit Glacier, one of the only glaciers you can walk up to.

Day 1: Outdoor Adventure

Tour Kenai Fjord National Park aboard a boat, ride horses along the beach and through the forest of the old town Seward that was destroyed by the 1964 earthquake, and then take your catch home after a day on the ocean catching Halibut, Salmon (5 different species), cod, and rockfish.

Day 2: Culture and History

Check out the Seward Museum. Learn about the Great Alaska earthquake of 1964 and the history of Alaska and the Iditarod.

The Alaska SeaLife Center is a must while visiting Seward. This facility is a research and rescue and also an aquarium to see the animals of Alaska. Finish your day with a helicopter ride over glaciers or ride along with Iditarod Sled dogs that have won the famous race several times.

Day 3: Uniquely Seward and Seward KOA

Seward KOA has a great location 5 minutes outside of Seward. Exit Glacier is just down the road with access any time of the day. Enjoy dinner around the campfire then drive 5 minutes and take a nice 1.5-mile walk to the face of Exit Glacier.

Seward KOA provides lots of on-site activities to keep the whole family entertained. Some of our amenities include a playground with a custom Alaska boat for the kids to play aboard, pedal carts, putt putt golf, a gift store, an espresso bar, a Gaga ball, and a concierge desk to book your Seward activities.
