Have already recommended to family. Overall a very nice stay and clean. Close to the water for activities. Only thing was the men’s showers could have been a bit cleaner. Otherwise a great stay!

The staff were friendly and helpful. The grounds were lovely and we had plenty of activities to enjoy: volleyball, basketball and giant chess. This location is smaller than others but we enjoyed walking and talking with other campers. The restrooms need a major upgrade. Overall it’s a good stay for a night or two.

The only suggestion is a fence between the road and tent sites. This would add a barrier of security for campers.

Our stay was very good nice campground! It took a while for the shower to produce hot water though. But other than that it was great and good pizza too!

Our camping trip was awesome and very relaxing. We originally set up camp at another site and the ladies in the office helped us move to a more accommodating site. Everyone was super helpful and answered all of our questions throughout our stay which was our first time staying in Santee. Highly recommend especially since everyone is so helpful. Thank you.

Bathrooms closest to our site were closed. We would have requested a different site had we known prior to setting up.

Can’t give the best most informative review because I got there late, tent camped and left very early. Did not have time to enjoy any of the amenities, but there were many tent sites, and they all seemed nice. Checking in was a breeze and everyone was pleasant. I do feel that $65 for a simple tent area is excessive but it is what it is.

I love Santee Lakes KOA. I would recommend it. It's clean and everyone is friendly. Love sitting around the lake watching the sun set. Start saving up to update the restrooms/showers. IT"S TIME!!!!!! Your only drawback (and it is a big one) . Everything else is excellent. You have a gem there!

Everyone was over and above on every level. This was next level stay for a campground. It was clean and beautiful and sooooo friendly. Praise the Lord for great owners. We will absolutely be back.

We love staying here. Fun for my Grand children. And my parents love the fishing. Very clean restrooms!!! And staff is very very polite and friendly and helpful!!!�ϋ�

Koa santee is a Beautiful site ! The staff works hard and are very helpful .. lots of things for the kids to do and fun for the whole family !

Overall positive - recommendations would be policing the sites after guests vacate. There were bits of trash all about the site, straw wrappers, bits of plastic. A lockable trash can close to the sites would reduce excuses for your tent campers, in theory. I stayed in a National Park during my trip and the sites were immaculate, would chose to stay at a NPS if it fit my agenda.

This is our 3rd stay in the past year and we absolutely love it. It is our number 1 choice of a vacation. And the workers are wonderful. Can't wait to go back soon!

The staff was very welcoming at the desk and helpful when taking me to my campsite. My concerns were addressed quickly and with a smile. Overall, the campground is very well shaded and clean. Highly recommended!

The staff was awesome. The camp site was nice. The only complaint is the bathrooms seemed a little on the nasty side.

It very beautiful and family oriented, we met a lot of cool people who became our friends and we will definitely be returning!! The bath house, laundry room, pool, food, and putt putt, and so much more was amazing to have!! Definitely recommend

I’ve camped here since I was a little girl. And now we take our kids here. It’s been amazing the whole time. People are friendly and always courteous.

Campsite was just off the interstate but still quiet. My tent site was right on the lake which was lovely and removed from the RVs a bit. I had my own picnic table and fire pit. It was a nice gift to be able to sit and read and then go to sleep! I do wish the bathrooms had been a little closer but that wasn't an issue really...just being lazy!

We were tent campers out on a sloping site not with other tent campers, with RVs. The bath house closest to us did not have working bathroom and shower so I had quite a walk to use the bathroom or shower. The dog park was too small and evering just seemed run down. We ordered wood twice and both times had to call back and remind. The staff was very nice. We’ll be going back to state park camping

Great place. Great people. Very beautiful! Tent camping in 90 degrees became not fun. And with storms in the forecast, we decided to run. The staff was very accommodating, we were glad to be home safe.

This was our 8th stay at the Santee Lakes KOA. Our camping pad and area were in great condition. This was the first time the Ladies bathroom Floor could use a good scrub. It was mopped but it still didn't get up the mud off of the floor. We love it at your campground and will surely be back. When the you finally have saved up a little bit, the bathrooms sure could use a modern update.

This KOA spot is so beautiful, right on the water. Our sunset the night we stayed was picturesque. Staff was incredibly friendly! The bathrooms are a little outdated.
