Strategically located with easy access on and off I-95, and within an hour's drive from Charleston, SC, our campground offers the perfect blend of relaxation and outdoor adventures. The RV and tent sites are shaded by oaks draped in Spanish moss, tall pines, and tropical palmettos. Wander down to the campground's scenic lakefront along the north shore of Lake Marion, the largest lake in South Carolina, where you can settle in for a picturesque sunset. Visit with other campers at the inviting pool or community fire pit or enjoy a game of cornhole or carpet golf. Your pet will enjoy exercising at KampK9, and the kids will have a blast at our beachfront playgrounds. The campground also offers basketball and tennis courts and a sand volleyball court. You can go fishing directly from the campground. We also have a boat dock and ramp.
KOA Santee/Santee Lakes is an ideal destination for group camping. We can accommodate groups of 10 or more of all kinds. We offer RV sites and tent sites, and later in 2025, we will add five cabins to the campground. We offered discounted rates for all kinds of groups, such as Scout troops, Family reunions, Church groups, corporate retreats with team-building activities, Youth organizations, groups organizing rallies, and overall celebrations, like a bride's made getaway. We offer a variety of outdoor meeting spaces where your group can gather around the fire pit, in the picnic table area, or on the beach overlooking Lake Marion. We also have indoor facilities for meetings.
