Had lakeside site that paid more for. Was very sloped, not a flat spot on it. And no septic. K9 camp was a mess, poop all over the place.

Very nice. Just enough room between spaces, very clean bathrooms, they do pizza and will even deliver to your campsite. On a nice lake. We only stayed one night on a trip home. But everyone very pleasant and helpdul

I was only here for one night, but the staff was incredible and the campground was beautiful. I’ll stay longer next time.

Very peaceful and relaxingng by the lake and watching others playing cornhole. Showers and toilets very clean but need clothes hooks.

Quick overnight with a late, after dark checkin. Late registration area wasn’t marked. Even once we had our marked map it was very difficult to find our site. Signage was very small & arrows misleading on the one we did see. Site numbers were impossible to see without getting out and walking up to them. Pad lacked gravel & grass was grown over firepit even. Okay but probably won’t return.

Very nice and caring staff, very clean bathrooms, nice sandy beach, and spectacular lake view from our site. I will definitely go back and recommend to anyone who is looking for a relaxing place. The pool was closed as it is seasonal, but that wasn't a big deal for us as we enjoyed the lake for one week!

We love Santee Lakes. Such a pretty spot with spectacular views of the sunsets over the lake.

One night stay. Did not use facilities. Park super clean and quiet. Nice beach you can actually go in and swim. Also have a dock, this is Lake Marion.

Only reason this wasn't a 5-Star stay was full power outage upon arrival in mid afternoon. Scheduled this stop to conclude a week of boondocking stays specifically for recharging batteries, laundry, hot showers etc - and were a bit disappointed. Power restored by early evening and facility did give us a partial refund for inconvenience (kudos!). Otherwise nice, and we just booked a return visit!

Facilities were very dated but extremely clean. Camping area was well kept and beautiful lake views. Staff was nice and Ruby was an amazing host. Only rated 4 stars because all sites do not have sewer hook up.

Beautiful campgroung/ great spots and staff. Bakehouse restaurant a short path walk away a big plus. Views of Lake Marion fabulous. Would definitely stay again. Tom

we are happy that you are in a good location. we also liked the Pizza and wings so we didn't have to worry about cooking for the evening. We also used the restroom showers they were very clean and had plenty of hot water. Certainly will be stopping by there again.

Loved this place! They treated us great and the facilities were nice. I don’t have much to compare it to yet but we all really enjoyed it. I’m not an experienced rv traveler but I really appreciate being able to decide on Sunday afternoon that we are going to make an unplanned stop and have the option to book last minute. The other places we considered in the area were closed. I recommend

The staff was excellent. We had no issues at all with them. Our issue was that the campground itself was pretty worn out. The women's bathroom/shower in the center of the campground was out of order, so my wife had to walk across the property to use the bathroom. That wasn't explained when we booked. There are a number of RVs on the site that haven't moved in years. It just looks trashy.

We were there overnight and it was beautiful. Spring is in the air, robins everywhere, the lake is wonderful and the staff was very friendly. We'll be back for sure.

A beautiful campground with great views of Lake Marion, a wonderful fishing pier and plenty of activities for children and young adults. Bass fishing was goof but caught mostly catfish this trip in early spring. Wonderful and very helpful staff who were extremely pleasant to work with. Highly recommend this KOA Journey at Santee/Cooper!

Staff was friendly. Site was not level unlike other KOAs. Some rows of sites, while unoccupied, appeared to have fallen into disrepair.

This KOA spot is so beautiful, right on the water. Our sunset the night we stayed was picturesque. Staff was incredibly friendly! The bathrooms are a little outdated.
